The hotel was very nicely located. The tram stop right outside took you right into the center of Amsterdam and it was only a 15 minute journey! We were also told that surrounding shops gave you a discounted service just for staying at this hotel! So that was pleasant. There were also many local shops, supermarkets, fast-food restaurants, ATM machines and bakeries within a 5 minute walking distance. We also found a very good coffee shop just a 5 minute walk away. The hotel itself was very clean .

The hotel is sooo nice, clean, simple and modern, friendly staff, beside restaurants and super markets, discounts I can get in many shops if I make online check in, beside a tram station, the position is so nice.Perfect for the price, although the price is not including in it changing towels or cleaning service or the TV, but I still found I dont need these things If I just use the hotel for sleeping. The location was just perfect with the tram in from on the hotel (which goes directly to the center in 15 mins), Albert Cuyp market also walking distance. Although you had a central ventilation system and couldn't open windows, the system worked quite well and you could set a confortable temperature.The room was very clean and the staff helpful if needed. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We were on the third floor, which was quiet. The location is handy, as there is a tram (number 25) that stops just round the corner (1 min walk). You get what you pay for, a basic hotel, which is suitable for a city break- prob no more than 3 nights. Very convienent hotel, offers you every basic thing to you but nothing more. More (cleaning,wifi) you have to pay for them. Did not bother me at all! I would have given 5 stars but the downside was it is a non-smoking hotel (the windows do not open), and the room got a little cold and you couldn't go above a certain temperature. Also, the glass partition in the middle of the room that separates the toilet and the bed isn't very soundproof and you can see/hear everything!. The check in is 15:00 pm so late and the checkout is 10:00 am so early. The hotel make an option for paying money to let the check in earlier and the checkout later, but it's better to be the default of the hotel. The window didn't open. You couldn't smoke in the whole hotel. Not much space to put your belongings, there was a space for suitcases under the bed, but that was it. everything was great but a lil table in the room would be cool :). nothing. Fact I had to pay extra, in particular each day for TV. Nothing - for the price it was great. It's what you'd expect from an EasyHotel. If you must have carpeted floors and a coffee machine, you'll be disappointed. I'd prefer to have those 'luxuries' but I'm not prepared to pay for them, so this is one tight fisted traveler who makes do without. :). I didn't like the thin glass partition that separated the bathroom from the rest of the room, it was not private enough. The room was tiny and "extras" are expensive. Wi-fi internet is 7.5€ for 24h and baggage lockers are 4€. That's all part of what gives this hotel such a great value for money though. 1. rather tiny bathroom, it's hard to wash your face. 2. extra-services are payable. There is no breakfast option, but I knew this when booking. Late check- in time of 1500 so had to pay €7.50 extra to check-in earlier as we arrived at 1100. Early check-out time of 1000 next day. Need to pay extra for wi-fi access, and this is limited to only 1 device. Extreamly monetization of hotel services: 1 euro for towel exchange (per towel), 15 euro for room cleaning, 7 euro for internet day access. Too much. The closed building conditioning system resets the room tunings sometime each nignt. The draught may easly cause you to catch cold in the head. Tip: take off the authentication card from block before sleep. No any chair, no table in room. Be ready for uncomfortabilities. too few surfaces, pricey wifi, extra charges for TV. 40-50 min to central station 40-45 min to dam square 30-35 min to leidseplein on foot. Expensive internet. wi-fi price; no hairdryer. There should have been more available facilities that you could pay for if you require them e.g overseas telephone, more options in vending m achines. wi-fi not included (works fine; EUR 7,00 until 1h pm next day). in Amsterdam the door of the toilet/shower made quite some noise (the magnets), which woke my girlfriend when I used it in the middle of the night. In The Hague the magnets of the door made less sound. - No free tv - far from Amsterdam central. nothing. the staff. not so friendly. The room is quite small, the wifi is not free. Small room, no cleaning while we were there and no tools or materials to do it ourselves, no WC brush, air conditioning hummed all night, waste bin not emptied, Wi Fi not free. Wifi is expensive. Stayed for 4 nights and the room wasn't cleaned once or towels replaced. Only negative I have on a thoroughly enjoyable visit. Services cost extra money (the early check-in or late checkout are expensive for example). Very tiny rooms. No free TV or wi-fi, you could not get a news channel without having to pay for it. shower wasn't particularly effective, additional costs for cleaning and laundry change, towels etc. when staying for three days. WIFI should be free. 7.50 Euros is ridiculous and why on earth would a hotel charge you for an extra towel. Parking was a bit too expensive. small size of the rooms (no where to hang clothes except 1 coat each), city noises took a while to get used to. Very cold room. no free wi-fi or tv. Extremely small and fairly comfortable room, wi-fi for extra charge. no wifi. Rooms very small. Additional costs for WLAN and TV are a bit much. location, bit far out.
