Casa Luna is situated just outside the Jordaan Quarter, in between the Herengracht and the Keizersgracht canals. This B&B dates from 1616 and is also a work and exhibition studio for artists.
All rooms have a private bathroom and some of the rooms benefit from canal or patio views.
The Westermarkt/Westerkerk tram stop is a 5-minute walk away and offers direct access to Amsterdam Central Station with line 13 and 17. The Anne Frank House is a 3-minute walk from Casa Luna. You can reach Dam Square in a 5-minute walk.

Rooms are very basic (no TV, no airco, no safe and no bath tub). Poor value, given the steep rates.
We were 2 elderly friends. The bathroom (described as 'luxury', which was an exaggeration) was accessed by 3 steep steps and no handrail.
The lighting was poor so reading in bed at night was a problem.
The bedside tables were too small and wobbly.
I've had lots of artist friends so, unlike some reviewers, I wasn't overawed by the arty atmosphere.
The owner switched off the wi-fi on 10pm sharp what was very strange
