  Rooftop Bar and Terrace was excellent. Reception Staff extreemly helpfull, they provided maps and information and spoke good English. Bar staff very efficient, helpfull and friendly. Hotel upgraded our room because we stayed 6 nights and the view from bedroom window was wonderfull as it looked directly over the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. We... what people say » felt that we could reach out and touch the Corinthian Column. - The customer service was excellent and the location was perfect. The hotel is close to the Termini station, so it was easy to get to when coming from the airport. I was also pleasantly surprised that we got to stay in a suite. Everyone was very nice and everyone spoke English. They also had a great breakfast spread. This was the nicest of the three hotels I stayed in while visiting Rome.

The location is very good: near the railway station Termini (it is especially great if you use the train to/from the airport), walking distance from the downtown and 1 min from metro.   The Augusta Lucilla Palace is very close to all the main attractions in Rome. It is very close to the bus terminal and made it easy to get around town! The hotel looks very new and is very clean and the rooms are imaculate! It has double glazing so the sound of the outside street is greatly minimised which is fantastic and has good air conditioning... what people say » . The staff were really helpful-highly recommended - The hotel was brilliant, friendly and helpful staff and a great feel to the hotel. I stayed for three nights with my girlfriend and found the hotel to be in a great location for all the attractions. The hotel itself was modern, clean and very comfortable!
