The hotel was run very efficiently: We were called for breakfast both days and although v we were running late August the staff were so warm and welcoming. Best staff ever - they must have been chosen for their genuine smiles. I was obvious we were so on love and they all added to the magic of our stay. The staff was wonderful! The hotel was very clean, the food good and the service was excellent. I was so impressed with the young people that work there. They work very hard and are so pleasant. They should be commended.

The hotel is completely over priced and outdated, a lot of shabby visible DIY jobs. hotel is dated, worn carpets, needs updating and basic rooms. The size and condition of shower. We were two women travelling and found the shower far too small. Any man would find it impossible to use. Needs attention. location - lisdoon has very little to offer the tourist. hotel has a jaded air about it - even though it was spotless breakfast wasnt anything special (im a vegetarian and on morning 2 i wanted anything else but eggs - again). the taped together carpet at reception the half slices of soda bread at breakfast 4 of which were end slices (the heel of the bread) when we asked for them to be changed we got the same again !! no beans even though they were on the menu in general we thought the breakfast very !!! poor, we had dinner on one night not to be repeated !! frozen veg, meat cooked to death. awful !!. noise. food was poor and no variety. Room was very warm. the staff were unfriendly, also the room was tiny and there were two of us staying in the room and we paid 180eur for the room for the night we thought at least we would get a big room.... Receptionist Unfriendly/rude, Unable to book a table in restaurant x 2 nights,Told go down the town restaurant full with coach tours, didn't care about other guests.
