A nice, quiet resting place fairly near the Clifts of Moher. If the town is unfamiliar, the hospitality won’t be. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our room was basic but perfectly adequate and clean, and there was plenty of hot water in the en suite facilities. The dining room was comfortable and a nice breakfast was served. There was easy parking on the property. In all, this is a good choice in this area.
all reviews » Ann and Dennis were very welcoming allowing my sister and I to use a family room which was lovely and cozy, Dennis rescued us from the nearby Cliffs of Moher with their taxi when the inclement weather was just too much wind and rain there for us. Their full Irish Breakfast was amazingly good and we indeed had a very lovely stay here. We really enjoyed our stay at Burren Nreeze from our arrival Ann was very helpful to explaining about Lisdoonvarna, food, pubs etc. Each morning we got a wonderful selection for breakfast. Ann son took us in each night to lisdoonvarna village which was very nice. The shower/bath had loads of hot water and beds had electric blanket. Exceptionally friendly and ever helpful hosts Denis & Anne. Great breakfast. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Close to everything but you would need a car to travel around the Lisdoon area including the Cliffs of Moher & the Burren. The best meals can be had at the Roadside Tavern just a minute drive away. The owners were incredibly kind, helpful and welcoming. We felt right at home and enjoyed the large Irish breakfast provided for us very much! We also loved the location, as we were able to drive just a few minutes to the coast and also over to Doolin Cave, which was a spectacular experience. Very friendly owners and hubbie was a taxi driver so drove us out for the night and collected us, close to lisdoonvarna and doolin, very comfortable b and b with a super breakfast. Lovely people with a lovely home. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Dennis really helped to plan our itinerary. The location is close to Doolin and the coast and also the Burren with many old ruins and beautiful scenery. Ann and Dennis were extremely accommodating. We had a very enjoyable stay and if we decide to visit Clare again, we will definitely be booking the Burren Breeze. Friendly welcome on arrival. Comfortable bed in a good size room. Almost all lodging in Ireland has unusually high sides on their bath tubs....making it a bit difficult to get in and out of, but we encountered this almost everywhere we stayed...so of course we don't fault them for that!. None. The bathroom is in need of a refit. It was a little out of the way from everything else. The main windows had some air draft, in the summer season no problem, but during winter the room could be cold. nothing to dislike. Just to be aware of that there is no ATM in the town centre, additionally you can get cash back in the shop, which close early. I liked everything. Everything was fine. Nulla.

Fanore beach is 10 km to the north on the coast road, Lahinch beach & Golf course are 10 km to the south. The Burren occupies 50 square miles to the north of Lisdoonvarna and has many roads for walking. The Cliffs of Moher 7km to the South-West are not to be missed. Doolin 4km to the West is world famous for traditional music. Daily trips to The Aran Islands are available from Doolin Pier nearest point to the Aran Islands. (Aran is a day trip and extra night is advisable). Limerick, Galway, Bunratty & Shannon are all approximately an hour drive from Lisdoonvarna. There are also many craft shops and shops specialising in Irish products nearby (Woollens, Fabrics, Tweeds etc).
