I liked the hotel decor. Though my room was small like most europeanhotel rooms the room was charming. The breakfast was very good and Iappreciated getting to order a hot breakfast off of the menu. Great location only a couple of kms from dublin's city centre yet set in a peaceful and quiet street in a lovely old building overlooking a garden out the back. Rooms were small yet cosy and very comfortable. Wifi worked in the rooms fine and free parking was very convenient. Breakfast was a mixture of a small buffet as well as a la carte meals and was excellent. Staff were very friendly and provided some excellent restaurant recommndations. The food, service and atmosphere was outrstanding. I arrived for the Dublin Marathon and was very impressed with the Ballsbridge Hotel. I was able to relax for a couple of days before the race on Monday 29th October, and everything was so accessible from registration at RDS, a 5 minute walk from the hotel, and the Marathon start, only 10 mins walk.

The hotel room was well presented and clean with plenty of space. The TV had more than just the standard channels, with 2 music channels.
