Roomservice - very good, discreet, not disturbing service, let you sleep after party - I´ve been stay at Tower Rooms. Reception also friendly and helpful. Location good - and bus from airport (aircoach) stops directly in front of hotel. nice rooms, nice and helpful young international staff. Cool people, hotel! Beautiful area (Ballsbridge) of Dublin and close to city centre. We got good deal (stay 3 night, pay2) Really nice stay in Dublin! :).

Staff were very cooperative evn though preparing to close for chrsitmas the following day.Stayed here on a few occasions and was always happy with the standard of accomodation. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Would highly reccommend. Handy for town, could find a hotel that was better value. The Towers is adjoined to the Ballsbridge Inn, which is where you actually check in, and so has access to the cafe, hairdressers, bar etc but is a much quieter section. The only staff I dealt with were at reception and I found them to be extremely courteous and professional. The room was spacious tea making facilities bar food and music Friendly waitress at breakfast. A beautiful hotel and the customer service was excellent. the food was lovely and close to all ammities. the cleaning staff were good. room and price / location. the standard of food was very good,also the comfort and facilities were excellent. The only minus I would say is that the bedlinen was a little small / basic for the size of the bed. But otherwise, the facilities in the room were excellent, including a separate cloakroom for clothes, suitcases, ironing board etc. No room service. The bathroom was dirty and we arrived late and could not use our bathroom until the morning. no information about Dublin in the bedrooms . The direction to the Towers was vague. Coming down in the tower lift I found an Irish gentleman lost trying to find the way to the lobby. Registration was very slow. . yes a bit empty and musty its really abedroom block with limited facilities. Residents night bar would be good, I stayed at the hotel because it was near to the RDS and when i came out of the concert, there was no possibility for a late drink. Arrived late and couldn't get a meal. 2 of the 3 rooms we used smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Rooms for smokers should be specifically allocated or the no smoking policy vigorously applied. no guest information in the room. awakened by housekeeping at 9-30 am (only minor). Restaurant kitchen closes at 22.00hrs - and could not even get a sandwich. Staff on duty could only recommend a pizza delivery - not good after a day in meetings. Room was a bit cold. Heating did not seem to work properly. Room was beside the elevator which made it quite noisy. Also, we requested a smoking room but when we checked in we were told that all rooms were non-smoking. Would have been nice to know this beforehand. Hot water bit tricky to get running. The one thing we found disappointing about the hotel was that the lobbyand the corridors in the hotel were extremely cold.. The weather wasvery cold over the weekend, but when we sat in the lobby drinking a cupof hot chocolate, we couldnt take off our jackets as there seemed to bequite chilly. The doors entering the hotel were not wide open. Ioverheard one or two people saying the same thing. There was one particular man that worked in the "Dubliner" Bar of the hotel and he was so so rude! Unfortunately I don't remember his name but he was very unpleasant. checking in and checking out - staff very friendly but there was too much of a queue because too few staff on at the desk.The cleaners were overly persistent in trying to get us out to clean the room. Parking charges for guests. The room was not ready when we arrived and even though i paid with cash, they froze the money in my account and it took over a week to release it. It has not been renovated in a long time and no facilities.This is what used to be a 4-star hotel in desperate need of updating. Window panes were thick with black mold, paint was peeling on the bathroom ceiling, there was no TV remote (and a new one was never provided despite the front desk promising to promply do so), and there was no hot water for several hours. The food in the Dubliner was nothing to write home about.Telephone calls come from oversea ( malta ) somehow were not pasted tomy room cause when ask to be conected to room number the reply was wedon't have that numerb in uor hotel.
