it was very quiet and for this reason we were able to have a good nights sleep where in other hotels this is not the case. and it was very close to the city which was a big plus we were able to walk there and also the staff were so lovely and friendly. The staff were really nice and friendly!!! Very helpful too as my friend was on crutches, they were very accomodating:). It made my time away from home more easier and the staff are very friendly.

Some noise from people talking load in the early hours of the morning.The shower tray in room 27 filled up with water very quickly. It probably needed plunged. The Hotel was very hot on the first night when I arrived. Needed to put the heat down in thge room straight away. We were happy. Not being able to smoke in the room. Rooms were not sound-proof and I was actually kept awake by a chap snoring in the adjoining room.Likewise, when the commuter traffic starte at 5-00am it at was easilly heard. It was hard for me to find the hotel. Girl who i met on the front desk was a little rude until she realised I was working in the nearby area, an almost arrogant treatment initially.Only thing was there was a draft coming through then window which madeit cold at night. The breakfast coffee was NOT great.Continental breakfast is rather expensive - but there is a reasonable choice. shame that the bar wasn't open and food not available in the evening. Would also have like to have had breakfast included in the overall price to avoid decisions about whether to eat there or not.The room I got was tiny....but understandable due to the booking. It is expensive for what it is but no more expensive than other Dublin hotels - Dublin is very expensive unfortunately.The front of the hotel can be a little noisy, both from the bar belowand the guests moving through the corridors. However this was notexcessive and finished around 12 during the wwk.

Important information to guests

Car parking is free but limited to 12 spaces and cannot accommodate vans. On rugby/football/concert weekends (sometimes midweek) the car park is closed, however we can recommend parking on the side roads such as Wellington Rd. On Saturdays and Sunday many side roads are free of charge. The hotel charges 50% deposit 2 weeks prior to arrival for group bookings. Please note that on arrival, guests must provide the original card that was used for the advance purchase booking otherwise alternative payment has to be provided.
