College View Apartments is a new luxurious apartment complex directly opposite University College Cork (UCC) and a 5-minute walk from the city centre.
Each self-catering unit is furnished to a superior standard, and have cable TV channels. Most have free broadband and a flat-screen TV. There are complementary toiletries and a welcome pack of tea/coffee and milk on arrival.
Keys are collected from Killarney Guest House, Western Road, Cork. The apartments are located just next door.
College View Apartments is within walking distance of many tourist attractions, fine restaurants and lively nightlife. There is free car parking and a bus stop outside the door.

The Facilities at College View are first class. The kitchen area was fully equipped with all utilities and utensils that you would find in your own home. The staff are friendly and helpful and the manager Margaret went above and beyond to make sure I was very well accommodated and looked after. I would definitely recommend college view to others.all reviews
We stayed in a 1 bed apartment which was very spacious. The road is quite busy, but our bedroom was at the rear, so was very quiet. It was very convenient to walk into the centre of Cork. The staff were friendly and noted some points i raised with them.The bed was very comfy and the whole apartment was cosy,.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location within easy walking distance of city centre. Beautiful UCC campus across the road to walk in - and Mardyke cricket grounds to rear. Very clean accommodation with cooking facilities if required. Comfortable beds with high quality linen. Free parking.
The welcome we received was so nice and friendly and we immediately felt at home and to top it all the homemade scones and apple & cinnamon cakes at breakfast were such a treat. Anyone who takes such trouble to look after their guests shows that they enjoy what they do. We would definitely go back.
Location was very central with free car parking.Was facilitated with an
early check-in of 12md by Manager Margaret who assisted with other
queries. Apartment was clean fresh and contained all requirements and
breakfast was home cooked and presented very well with porridge and home
made scones included.
Its was very convenient to ucc where we were partaking in a two day
training course for work. There was parking in the nearby Guest House.
The staff in the Guest house were very friendly. The apartment itself
was perfect size for one person or a couple. It had all the cooking
facilities etc.
The apartment included everything that you could want. The décor was bright & modern, location was good - not in the centre of Cork but good transport links from train station and the red hop on/hop off bus passed the front door of apartment.

The apartment had all the facilities required kettle, toaster, fridge,oven and microwave. Well designed, utilises all space. Very accommodating staff. Overall, very nice.
The studio apartment I stayed in was very clean and had all I needed for an independent stay. The reception was extremely friendly and welcoming. I would stay there again.

Was short walk to the city centre. Apartment was modern, spacious and clean. Kitchen was very well stocked. Staff were helpfull and friendly.

There were a few cosmetic things that needed attention i.e. lots of bulbs out, the toilet roll holder was missing & a towel rail would have been good, but they were only minor things. and the owner thanked me for pointing them out.
The only drawback I can see is that there is no lift, and the stairs are steep, so it is not suitable for everybody for that reason. We had a weekend bag, but it would be difficult to get a heavy suitcase to the second or third floor.
No complaints would stay there again when visiting Cork.
The bathroom was very small and though it had a fan in it, it was still
very stuffy and as it was a studio apartment the smell of stale water
kinda thing wasnt too pleasant but once you closed the door it was fine.
We chose to stay in the studio which was 3 flights up so anyone with mobility issues would have a problem!.
Would have preferred another easy chair rather than the spare bed that was in the living room, but this is a minor detail.

What's not to like. It was exactly what we needed in every way.
A small folding table would have made eating in easier. Busy road
outside the front. A map and /or folder of local attractions would
have been useful.
Wifi signal was very weak so Internet was practically unusable.
Didn't like having to climb several flights of stairs with all our gear.

Nothing could be faulted except I found it difficult to manage the key at the start and didn't want to force the key.
Studio small and bathroom was tiny . It's in an old building that
needs a facelift badly and also a musty smell when u enter the front
door to access the apartment . I think it's a bit far out for
walking to restaurants and pubs and even tho taxis are on call it's
10 euros each way which ends up costly.
One mirror in the room was a balls as 3 girls trying to get ready for a
night out. Apart from that no complaints.

Having to fix the blocked toilet myself - the available staff were not capable of fixing it. The place is not what we expected - equivalent of maximum 2 stars in Australia. Basic facilities, extra charge for washing, minute bathroom, apartment was two small rooms. It is just a semi glorified guest house, hairdryer not near a mirror.
There were 32 steps no elevator Remotes for tv missing. Charge extra 16
euro to do washing in downstairs hallway Had to askfor iron and
ironingboard.the ad on internet gave the impression that itwas in unit.
It was clean but didnt feel clean.

We booked an apartment, but were given a B&B room. It turned out they had overbooked, but had not tried to contact us, or tell us when we arrived. By that time it was late so we had no option but to stay. Not happy. The room was also not very dark, so we woke very early. Not restful.
