Friendly staff, very good location. very clean rooms and top amenities, upgraded free to higher level plus provided free extra bed for my 3rd child to accommodate all of us at the same floor next to each other. excellent in every way. The efficiency and helpfulness of the staff - they helped make our stay extremely comfortable and smooth. It is a very nice hotel. The size of the room was very comfortable, breakfast acceptable - modest japan style,staff helpful and professional. The fitness room and swimming pool on the roof offering a nice view was a very pleasant bonus.

The swimming pool made my eyes sting for the rest of the day - I suggest that the chlorine levels were too high. Just a little bit "tired" in appearance.Location good, but not quite as close to mtr and Star Ferry as others. lack of sofa in the lobby room. Restaurant and a lounge area open at certain times but no actual "hotel bar". the water of the external swimming pool on the roof was not warm. Pool area could be materially improved. The hotel was further from the subway then expected and theInterContinental next door looked far newer. The facilities are kind of out-of-date given it supposes to be a five-star hotel. THe pillow is too small and soft. The sign at B/F next to the staircase is absent for showing the location of toilet. not close enough to mtr but hotel shuttle bus able to drop you off. Too far from mtr. For a 5 star hotel, the staff attitude and friendliness is more a 4star. Although most staff are guest friendly, some need a crash course in general politeness, communication skill and courtsey.Deluxe harbour view room just faces 1/3 harbour and the rest face manybuildings and roads.. yes ,the charge me different rate from my booking. I have ever had dinner on 26/11/08 I eat sashimi after eat that on I had vomit and feel very bad after come back room. My friend said this was meant to be 5 star but would be lucky to get a 3 from me, the room was next to another room gettin renovated and was noisy at times, my room there were stains on the carpet, the tv reception was bad, the furnitures are old and the place need renovations done.
