The staff were very nice and helpful espeically with getting us anothernights stay during the typhoon, pool was great. Room was verycomfortable and clean and it was very close to transport around HongKong and a great location for walking to downtown Kowloon. very helpful in giving me directions and suggestions, loved the pool and pool side service and the food was great in the main diningroom.

As an example of how courteous and helpful the staff at this hotel were I was travelling with my elderly mother and ended up in hospital. The hotel staff were wonderful to my mother ensuring that she was able to be on her own until I was discharged from hospital and ready to continue on with our travelling. Location is not a problem, not in the middle of Kowloon which is good, and with the free hotel shuttle we could reach downtown in less than 5 minutes. We loved the breakfast, a lot of choice and good food.The shuttle bus service to the downtown area and the adjasent mall that have many resturants and grocery stores to buy water and ather items cheaper than the hotel room service. I was able to stay @ the hotel for a very low rate, thanks to LetsBookHotel.com. They charged additional for internet but there was no indication of it on the website and laundry service from the hotel was outrageous and the staff is not helpful or courteous. Breakfast opens only at 06:30, needed 06:00. Rooms are very small.The rooms are very small. Room furniture needs to be changed, too old. TV was small and old, did not like this at all. Shuttle service works well but only at 23:10, I would extend it a bit for those going for dinner or a drink downtown.The unfreindly attitude of the front desck staff. Also, the smooking room that I asked for smelled like an ash try!! They should have let fresh air into it or at least spray some fresh sents into it. Also, the beds are realy small and short for a person like me who is 6.1' tall!!. A bit inconvenient if traveling by shuttle bus - it's a walk away. It's not so close to the bus stops, if you plan to be out to the city late @ night.not enough blankets in a suite room. I am very much against having to pay for a wireless internet connection in hotel rooms, believe me I and friends will be swayed by internet inclusive deals because the charges are insane!. Swimming pool was closed. Price is a bit high. A hair dryer in the room would be good.Breakfast service was not always good. Toillet fan is not working. Smell remains after using toillet.The shower door couldn't be closed properly so the water leaked to the bathroom floor easily. I have paid for harbour view room but received not what I expected.After I checked in, when I went to the room the key didnt' work. I hadto go back down (with my luggage) to get it reset. I was tired alreadyso this was frustrating. These things happen, but an apology would havebeen nice. Staff dealing with excursions were not very pleasant or helpful re. constructive criticism. Since there were many Harbour Plaza Hotels in Hongkong..many of our taxidrivers dropped us at worng hotels...so I recommend the guests to holdtheir address at all time..and show the driver...to makesure..(eventhough we showed them...but they made mistake....)and thestaff at the front-desk were little out of mind when the typhooncame..not professionals... no toaster in the little kitchen. Especially after upgrading during check-in to a room on the 20th floor we would have expected a more spacious room. location, staff.Air conditioner is not in a gd condition. the room is too small.
