Rather than pay for two hotel rooms, an a apartment with two rooms was excellent. Only 10 - 15 mins from Paderborn. Well appointed apartment with comfortable beds and a good kitchen and sitting room. Ideal if you wanted to stay longer, and cook for yourself. Lovely surroundings. Very pleasant and helpful owners. Very clean. -

Excellent location practically beside the Cathedral. The apartment was very clean and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable and the apartment didn't have any features that were not kid friendly like sharp cornered tables, lots of trinkets etc.. We had three children under age four and it went smoothly. They loved looking out the window at all the action outside. The supply of free coffee and a bottle of beer was a nice touch too. We arrived 3 hours prior to check in time, yet as the Apartment was ready, we were allowed take up occupancy straight away.We had our own entrance to the swimming pool which we used every day. The hotel staff could not have been more friendly or helpful than they were. We were given assistance with our bags as there was no lift up to the Apartment.

Though we don't speak German, their English was so good that it was never a problem. I would highly recommend this hotel to others, especially because the location was also very good.
