The room was elegantly finished and very comfortable, with a nice outlook and a quiet location at night. We could see Cologne cathedral through the window and hear church bells in the morning. Very friendly staff, not all English speaking but they make a good effort. Good breakfast (but very weak coffee), good value restaurant in the hotel with traditional meals. The restaurant was very accommodating with a friend who had a food allergy. -
