Perfect location. Very close to the central railway station (five minutes walk) and it takes only 15 minutes by train to get to the central station from the airport. Reasonable price. all reviews » We booked last minute to be near the airport; it's about 20 minutes city drive. Room was clean & comfortable, no frills, just beds & a bathroom with a small tv, but good value & close to shopping & dining. Pay parking lot nearby, no hotel parking that we noticed. Breakfast buffet was nice. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was a bit old- fashioned but neat and clean. As the city isn't big itself the hotel is not very far from the old part of the city (15-20 min of walk) and quite close to the shopping street (about 10 min). Good location, close to the Hbf. Staff members were really friendly. I forgot my house keys in my room and didn't realize until hours after I had already checked out. They went to my room and found my keys and let me know I could pick them up. Location very near (3 minutes walk) to Dusseldorf Railway station and also not too far from Airport. Excellent staff, very reasonably priced, neat and clean rooms. Safe & secured hotel in market place. Will suggest everyone. It's difficult to park your car just by the hotel, you can either search for a parking place in the neighbourhood or and I think it's better - use the parking in the next street - 6 euros per day. Not any cakes or crouassants for breakfast :-(. Internet can be spotty at times. No free parking, so if your are driving then u have to park in the nearby parking house which cost €6-€12 per day... Walking to the historic area for 10-15 minutes, there are always some strange drunk guys on the way to the station... Nothing, it was really good. Nothing. No tea making facilities in rooms. WiFi was advertised as free in every room, but poor signal strength made it impossible to use from my room. Had to sit on the stairs in the hallway. Wireless also requires registration via e-mail. One can hear every hallway sound in the room (and vice versa) though soundproofing is advertised. Had a confirmed request for a double bed — got two single beds moved together. Mediocre breakfast. No kettle in the room though they are very friendly and boiled a bottle of water for me but it is however not so convenient. The internet was absolutely the weakest link, no pun intended. The connection bad and you often have to reconnect. But then again, you get what you pay for. Concerning the breakfast, it is more than good if you are only there for a weekend or so, but during my stay of 2 weeks it got boring. Facilities were nice, only thing to mark here was the bathroom door, which was awkward closing with myself inside - and I'm not a big guy at all!. There are some stairs till elevator and very diffciult to carry luggage. We booked superior room 25 sq.M. For 2 persons with 2 separate beds as we are not a couple, but they gave us the 16 sq.M.room with one middle- sized bed. They took a payment for the superior room, but our room cost cheaper. Breakfast was awful. Comfort. I would have appreciated if they had informed me that they could not meet my requirements (type of bed). When I mentioned that to the front desk, they were too reluctant to answer/ help me. The breakfast room was dark and the breakfast itself was poor. It stroke me that nobody in the town knew the hotel when I asked them, from companies down the street, quite close to the hotel, to information points in the train station..
