This was our second stay at Bienvenue Chez Nous and was as good as the first. Conveniently situated a hundred yards to the main square of Bergues with its bars and restaurants. Easy, free, parking right outside the hotel or in nearby streets. Friendly proprietors. Good quality breakfast. Free WiFi in the room, c.3Mbps. -

I only met the host, a wonderful lady who is very friendly and helpful supplying a lovely rustic breakfast with all locally produced and farmed items. my room was a silent bliss to sleep in and with the blind down I was in complete darkness. The guy who dealt with us on reception was very very kind and efficient.
This hotel is a little gem....modern, chic, perfectly placed for the centre of town.
Room was stunning, new, fresh and very trendy. High quality cosmetics in the bathroom. Nespresso machine with genuine cartridges. Free mini bar. It really couldn't get any better. If you have chance book a lunchtime meal, the chef is clearly very good. I will definitely return!

The staff simply couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.
The room was spotless - perhaps just a tad clinical as a result- and they gave us the car-park tag to keep overnight as we were leaving first thing in the morning, before anyone would have been around. The location was excellent - right in the heart of Lille, but in a side street so it was relatively quiet overnight.
