  This is a great hotel to stopover in. We were trvelling from Italy to England. The room was small but we had 3 separate good sized and comfortable beds. The secure parking was a must. The hotel has no restaurant but its sister hotel the Campanile a few minutes drive does and we got a discount as guests. - Cleaness, price, location.

  The purpose of our trip was to visit la Foire du Vin et de la Biere - an excellent weekend -a chance to taste and try food and wine and to practise my french. An opportunity to try wines that are beyond one's normal price range and others not usually seen outside France.   I really like the prompt response from the staff from the very first point of contact, even without meeting them. they fully cooperated with my and my particular situation (late) and provided me an easy to follow solution. once we arrived the space of the room was unbelievable! first thing in the morning the receptionist (who did not speak good En... what people say » glish, but was a world of friendly and absolutely warm) welcomed us with a smile and great manners... it actually did not matter that we spoke differe - Location, Staff.   Main reason for staying here was its proximity to a Crocodile Restaurant but the hotel itself was clean and comfortable. It has, of course, been recently refurbished. - Needed wine shopping and a bed before tunnel home. Far nicer than staying in calais and only 1hr 20mins from tunnel.
