The hotel was very clean. We had a great, spacious room with comfortable bed, great breakfast bar bench, excellent remote controlled blinds, a modern bathroom, wooden floors and lovely high ceilings. The included breakfast each day was inviting and they even made you fresh orange juice, complete with candles burning in the very modern, stunning dining room, which looks onto the gorgeous park! Staff are welcoming and friendly and there is always peaceful music playing as you enter and leave.

Large, light, spacious room and considering location, quiet. Art and décor modern and bright. Gave my daughter (who was not staying) breakfast with us complimentary on both days, which was a nice bonus!. The hotel is beautiful. The location is great in Lille. When we arrived we were greeted by Jean-Francois and we were shown around. He also provided us with names of nice restaurants to go since we arrived quite late. Everywhere in the hotel is art, even in the rooms. Amazing. I would definately recommend this hotel!!. Really helpful owner in well restored, artistic townhouse of modern apartments with a breakfast lounge. Maybe best ever breakfast in France, very fresh. Good bathroom and shower.Ten minutes walk to city centre. Good value, recommended for couples who like being on edge of a provincial commercial city. We had a studio flat on the top floor which was spacious, quirky and comfortable. The house is beautiful and the breakfast room a delight. Emmanuel the owner is very friendly and helpful. We were able to park down the road free of charge which was a bonus but a bit of a trek. Lille old town is a 10 minute meander through beautiful cobbled streets. Lille is fantastic for museums, shopping and amazing restaurants, or a general wander. The hotel's location could have been 2 blocks closer towards the old town, but nevertheless, is still only a short 10-15 minute walk away. We stayed here for 2 nights, however I feel you can see Lille with just a 1 night stay, as we didn't have much to do on our last day. Parking sometimes difficult. The only thing that disappointed me is that after I showered the water went cold. I was like there was no hot water left. So my boyfriend had to take a cold shower. We could have used comfortable chairs in our apartment. Opposite a park, mostly lovely but with a noisy funfair when we were there. Beware two things in Lille: taxis are very unreliable, and avoid "Le Welsh" offered in cafes unless you like plates of fat and carbs with chips!". The hotel is on the other side of the city centre from the train stations. We knew this when we booked though, so for us not an issue. Parking can be a bit awkward as none directly on site. So had to park in side streets or public parking 3/4 minute walk away. Would have liked to have been warned before our arrival that credit cards are not accepted. I didn't like the fact that I had to leave. Everyone should live like this at least once. Could do with a shower not just a bath, although this was a very minor thing as bathroom was of highest quality. Separate en suite toilet and bathroom. Would be much better to have them in one. Premium rooms were not soundproof as mentioned. The price for breakfast was expensive!. A little remote from the centre. Having to leave. Needed to have air con in the rooms got very hot also a small fridge would have been good but in cooler weather it will be a great room. No proper shower but lovey bath. I perfer a shower. The hotel is located near a motorway and it was a bit noisy (not too much different from the other hotels in the city center) early in the morning (from 5) and late in the evening (until 12). Breakfast was definitely not worth 12 euros. There was only cheese, few kinds of jam bread.
