  nice homely atmosphere, with unique and funky interior decor - every room is individual and based on natural themes (ours was aubergine, everything was purple). We had the junior suite (the largest room on each floor) which was a reasonable size for a local Paris hotel. The staff were friendl and helpful, and the food in their restaurent, although - Good, safe neighborhood. 1 minute away from small metro stop, 5 minutes away from major metro stop. Very comfy beds. EXCELLENT staff at front who were very helpful and knowledgeable. Always felt safe there. Also, adorable puppy who is at the front desk most of the time... Brightened my day!

They even have a first aid kit for us when my wife fell down when we were out and had to nurse her wound back at the hotel. Breakfast was generous. The staff was courteous, well groomed, knowledgeable, patient, professional, friendly, helpful. The hotel is well located for a visitor, nice neighborhood, grocery stores, restaurants, open air markets, banking, laundromats, nearby. The neighbor feels/is safe and it is like being in a familiar community while being in a big city.

  The hotel was in a great central location. It was a short walk to Notre Dame (I have a slight walking disability) but could handle the walk. The bus stop is directly across the street from the hotel and ATM's are next door or across the street. It was such a short walk to the Seine. The restaurants and shops were right there as you left the hotel!... what people say » The staff were courteous and friendly. We did not speak french but this did not interfere with having a wonderful time in Paris. People were very und - Brilliant location, with in easy walking distance of most central sites. Very clean and comfortable hotel. We felt our room and bathroom were quite spacious for an attic room in Paris. The price we paid was very competitive. We were at the back of the hotel and it was quiet at night.

  The staff was exceptionally helpful and all spoke English. It was right next to the metro station and on the main metro line - very easy to travel anywhere. The price was very inexpensive for Paris, and the rooms were very clean, modern, spacious, etc. It is in Bastille, and it is a very exciting part of town.   We came here for a weekend and given that we wanted to see as many attractions as possible, the location was great! it's by St.Paul's metro stop, where there are some great brasseries if you're in for a coffee/wine/meal.   This place has a GREAT location. It is very close to transportation. There are ATMs, very good shopping (especially men's clothing on Rue Turenne near the hotel), great restaurants (try Beaucoup on Rue Froissart around the corner), and necessary things like a pharmacy, market, laundry all within half a block. Breakfast is spartan, but adequate.... what people say » Don't overlook the FREE box lunch you can take with you. You do have to ask about it. Because of the free lunch were able to have picnics in the T - The staff was extremely helpful. The location of the hotel couldn't be any better, just a few minutes away from the metro stop Froissart, which is on a very useful metro line. You have direct access to Opera and Champs Elysees. Place des Vosges and small boutiques in Marais are within walking distance. The breakfast was included in the price and it was good. Our room was quite spacious by Paris standards. This hotel will be my first choice next time I visit Paris!

  The place where the hotel is situated, the contemporary look - compare to other Parisian hotels it is new, however it is "Ikea" new, do not think it is a design hotel...It is convenient if you are staying for couple of days, not the kind of hotel where you can have the ultimate Parisian experience though...

  Great location, lovely authentic Parisian hotel feel (five floors of winding staircase); little balcony and view over trees onto the square below and of rooftops; a block or so from the Metro on a good central line, the accessibility of the restaurants, cafés, bars and designer shops of the Marais. On the fifth floor - no issue with noise despite cafés and bars below. - the location was incredible. the hotel was clean, very pretty and quaint, and the rooms and bathroom were a good size considering other hotels in Paris. We had enough room for two large suitcases and were still able to walk around vry comfortably in our room. The view from our balcony was of Hotel de Ville. I cannot stress enough on the amazing location this hotel was in!
