The staff was exceptionally helpful and all spoke English. It was right next to the metro station and on the main metro line - very easy to travel anywhere. The price was very inexpensive for Paris, and the rooms were very clean, modern, spacious, etc. It is in Bastille, and it is a very exciting part of town. There are lots of places to eat. i requested a family room and we have got 2 connected room that was very good, the location was great. the garden in front of the hotel was great as well. very clean and nice decoreted.

The location was central for our plans; the staff was wonderful; the hotel was clean and was obviously cared for very well; the room was comfortable; the air conditioner unit is by the door and so the noise is less noticeable than when it is by the window. Right by the Place de Bastille there are masses of bars and restaurants as well as bakers for the morning coffee (don't bother with the more expensive hotel breakfast). The metro is 5 minutes walk and Gare de Lyon only 10 mins.the bed very comfortable.and very accessible.the parking is just across the hotel and we paid reasonableprice for parking for 2 nights.the staff at the reception were very friendly. Breakfast is too expensive. the carpet in the room would prefer wood floors cleaner. Air conditioning could not be adjusted in our room (probably broken). No tea/coffee making facility in room. Air con only blew cold. Breakfast extra at 12 euros for continental was poor value.We didn't sleep very well as there was a lot of noise from the street in our ground floor room. Although the booking said check out at 12 we had to vacate our room by 11.15 am. It wasn't actually very near the Bastille area. We had o take a metro to get to the bastille station, which is what we wanted to be near.There was no bar to have a drink and chill. You pay premium for the Bastille location but the room was rather small given the cost and you have to pay extra for breakfast. We visited 11 hotels on this trip and this one does not rate as memorable albeit it was clean and comfortable enough.That they don't have international channels to the tv. fairly basic, expected a little more. I did not like the noise.
