We liked the location of the hotel - just below the Castle. It looks like an old building but nicely renovated. Cosy and romantic, with a lot of wooden and "golden" details. The breakfast room has a beautiful view to the Old town. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, kettle and tea/coffee in the room...We would be happy to stay at Golden Star again.

Fantastic rooms. Great design. Very cool atmosphere. Great bathroom. Complimentary prosseco with breakfast. Those who commented on the lighting system being complicated may be a little technophobic. It was pretty simple and took no time at all to understand. This would rate as one of the best hotel experiences for us. They raise the level from Ritz Carlton and Shangri La on the basis of atmosphere and room design alone.

We were also given a free book of things to see and do in Prague in either 3 hours or 3 days which came in very handy. Very enjoyable stay. - The reception staff in particular

The room was very comfortable with wing back chairs for sitting, large desk and comfortable beds. Air conditioning which was needed in an attic room was great. This is the very nice hotel. There are so kind staff, a breakfest is not bad, a big pretty room, everyday cleaning, etc. Important for turists it is a very good place. The many touristic objects are right there, just 5-10 minutes by walk.

The location is great, in the heart of the city but not in the crazy heart. You go up there is the castle you go down there is the Charl's bridge. On the way amazing restaurants very cheap and delicious. The beds are comfortable, bathroom is good. Close to the park where you can have picnic with the view to the city. Staff is very friendly.
