Located in Prague’s Lesser Town, the luxurious design hotel Three Storks is set in a historical building dating back to the 14th century, when it was home to a monastic brewery. It was a pleasure being at "The 3 Storks". The bedroom was very beautiful, and the hotel was very well located!. Everything it was a fantastic Hotel the service was excellent would use it again. location, service,staff. amazing little hotel. it´s in a nice part od prague, not in down town wich I like better than beeing with all the crowds. but as well is within walking distance to the "action".
all reviews » really comfortable room, great pillows! awsome powerful warm shower, great for after a days walking in the cold winter! every day the room was cleaned impecably despite not leaving until midday on some days. Hotel staff helpful and friendly. Ideally situated in the lesser town only a stones throw away from many restaurants pubs and the castle, but close enough to charles bridge to access old tow. I am glad you have given us the opportunity to say how nice your hotelis – we particularly enjoyed the quiet professional manner of the staff– it is placed in the environs of beautiful gardens full of peacocks inyour equivalent of the House of Lords and the most amazing Castle wehave ever seen not to mention restaurants of all descriptions, and tramsand a metro within easy walking distance. All was wery good.Located in a quiet square, but able to walk to all the historical sites. Good breakfast. Very stylish decor in a superb central location. Staffs are friendly and localisation. Very close to Charles bridge and other attraction in the center of Prague. Room was very clean and no noise from neighbors.The room was excellent. convenience. location. breakfast was very tasty but not too much choice. the name is not very clear in the entrance so we had I little trouble finding it. Taxi drivers are hard and not very friendly. few negative points - no coffee or tea facilities in the room, a problem if you oversleep breakfast that finishes at 10am. Also not all rooms including ours had a bath tub, something my fiancee was disappointed about. Also passing traffic caused the windows and shutters to rattle loudly during busy periods and early morning with bin lorry! also bar closed before 1030pm!. I am afraid we did not fully understand the air conditioning system. Breakfast is good but it's not from a 4 stars hotel.We had to use same towel because one of the towel was not changed... Certain staff could have been more helpful.front desk service. lighting in bedroom was very poor. no hot water on 1st day. no porter. poor breakfast. lack of concern to us over problems.

We would like to invite you to the newly reconstructed Wallenstein restaurant, with a long tradition dating back to the 1930s. It is located in the enchanting neighbourhood of Lesser Town, below the majestic Prague castle. The modern interior is designed by the architectural studio Eva Jiřičná Architects, London. Sensitively set within in the premises of the historical house At the Three Storks, it creates a perfect harmony between the extant Renaissance interior and the most advanced design.

Here you may enjoy dishes of the traditional Czech cuisine, such as roasted duck with cabbage and bread dumplings, as well as mouth-watering venison specialities or French culinary art. Your meal may be accompanied by a first-class wine from the wide range of world vintages. The total capacity of the restaurant is 80 seats.

Hotel information details

The building has been sensitively but comprehensively renovated to offer the latest in contemporary comforts and conveniences in this historic building. During the renovation great emphasis was put on the creation of clear lines and on the combination of natural materials like metal, stone, glass and wood. The innovative design of the hotel’s reception area is dominated by the reception desk and the bar made of stone. The striking glass lift facilitates access to the hotel’s upper floors and it is also sensitively incorporated into the hotel’s original architecture.

The first mention of the house, sometimes also called Altmann House or House at the Kings Magi, dates back to the 14th century when the Augustinian Order founded the first monastic brewery of St.Thomas on this site. The only remainder of this period is a large Gothic cellar. In the first half of the 17th century, the house was reconstructed in Renaissance style and was given the name "House At the Three Storks" and a sign featuring three storks was attached to the building.

The hotel is situated in the quiet and picturesque neighbourhood of Prague’s Lesser Town, just below Prague Castle and close to many of the city's beautiful historic attractions and excellent restaurants.

There are many popular sights within walking distance, like Prague Castle and its surroundings and gardens, Lesser Town and its gardens, the Strahov monastery, Lesser Town Bridge Towers, Petrin Hill and the Observation Tower, the maze, St Nicholas Church and the Charles Bridge.

Just a short walk away are the sights of the Old Town, like the Rudolfinum, Old Town Square, Old Town Hall, the Jewish Quarter, Claus Synagogue, Maisel Synagogue, Powder Tower, Municipal House, Estate Theatre and many others.

Painted wooden ceilings recall the house's Renaissance and Baroque origin. The windows offer beautiful views over Prague Castle and Lesser Town rooftops. The rooms´ cosiness is complemented by original graphics by the well known Czech artist Adolf Born.

All rooms have luxury bathrooms with a tub or a shower that are uniquely incorporated into the room.

In order to make the guests´s stay more enjoyable, LCD Sat-TV sets with DVD players including a large choice of films can be found in each room.
