Excellent location - two minutes from Charles Bridge. Tram stop right outside, close to metro so it's easy to get from airport - DO NOT GET A TAXI. Free wifi. Lovely wc/shower. Doubleapartment had a a nice kitchenette with hob fridge and kettle, with cooking equipment. Quiet enough - there weren't hordes of tourists outside. Loved everything about this place: apartment was gorgeous, spacious and comfortable; the staff was very helpful; and the location was perfect, just an easy walk across the Charles Bridge to Old Town, plus tram stop (and Starbucks) just outside. Highly, highly recommend!.
all reviews » The best location in Prague. Across the street from Charlie's Bridge, Starbucks, attached to 2 churches. The trolley, taxis, hop on and hop off are across the street also. There we plenty of bars, restaurants, and shopping centers to go too. Amour was wonderful! The desk attendant gave us parking instructions and excellent dinner recommendations. Rooms were clean and cozy, AMAZING views of old town architecture and central location. A very comfortable, small hotel with great atmosphere and superb loation. Friendly staff. We have stayed here for 4 years in a row and will gladly return. We've stayed at Amour residences several times and we really enjoy it. Excellent location, very friendly staff, clean, calm and comfortable. The stay at Amour Residence was great! Good value/cost! The room was beautiful, clean,big and the view was superb!. Very nice alcove space with beautiful views. Despite not being hot in the city, the apartment was too hot at night. One of the mornings, we had to wait 30 mins for hot water for a shower. Duvet was consisted singles on a double bed. 12 steep steps from kitchen /sitting room to bedroom. Not suitable for elderly. Only 2 bad things, sometimes the shower water was cold and no close parking. The beds are unfortunatly very uncomfortable. The hotel really need to improve this to keep up the otherwise positive impression. The water preassure in the shower is extremely low and in fact the loss of a thermostat makes showering a hazardous event. So: softer beds and the opportunity to mix cold and warm water hithout risking getting burned - and this hotel gets a really high score. The only negative thing about Amour residences is the quality of the bed-matress. Everyting else is really comfortable - the bed is NOT! They really need to do something about it to live up to the overall positive experience. There was nothing I didn't like. Everything was perfect we did not have anything to complain about. no ac. Staff speaks badly other languages than czech which happens to be disappointed of a 4 star hotel. Staff wasn't really able to help us further in indicating directions or helping organizing our stay in terms of visiting the city. The breakfast was a bit poor but Starbucks was the next door. Without breakfast. Water pressure, Conditioner,TV,Internet. I missed a bar. Only problem was the Church-bell :). Missing some key things like a bath for that romance feel.
