  Staff was nice. They spoke some English which was a pleasant surprise. Basic room. Had to leave very early to catch a flight, so don't know about the breakfast. - The staff is very friendly only nobody speaks English. The bed was comfortable

  This is a great hotel to overnight between flights to and from Shanghai Pudong airport. I arranged - at short notice - for a (free) hotel pickup at the airport, and this worked perfectly; I also took the hotel bus - again gratis - back to the airport (c. 15 minutes) the next morning. No problems finding English speaking staff and all were courteous and friendly.Room was much better than I expected for the money paid. Free shuttle bus to airport as well! Hint: when travelling by taxi have the phone number of your hotel for the driver, they dont speak english but will ring the hotel for directions.

Staff at the counter speak good English and very nice and effective even my flight arrived at 11pm. The hotel room is excellence for what I paid. The hotel offered an excellent transport service between the airport and hotel. I would have no problem recommending the hotel to other travellers.

  W stayed just one night in this gloriously comfortable hotel which was close to the airport for our onward flight. We ate vegetarian food in one of the private rooms in the Royal China restaurant and it was extraordinary and incredibly good value at £18 for several courses for both of us. The room itself was very comfortable with a beautiful bed for a good night's sleep. - Luxurious Rooms, Awesome Restaurant, Staff was extremely attentive. We had a wonderfull stay. We were awakened at midnight, opened our drapes and were treated to a wonderful display of fireworks right in front of our floor to ceiling windows. Chinese New Year Celebration.   Although a little old but very neat. Good transportation to and from Pudong international airport, short distance from the aiport, very very friendly workers at the reception. Very reasonable price. - The airport pick up is free and was pretty fast. About 10 min ride from airport to hotel. Room good value for the money. Clean sheets, AC.
