They can advice you to know what to do during your trip and help you for booking transports tickets.   We had a nice time in Dali Ancient Town. There is plenty of options what to do there and around. The Old town itself is ofc a big market place, so, one shop next to each other, but the place has a very nice atmosphere. You can spend one day in the streets of Old town and then you can rent a bike and go arnd to visit the nearby monastery or lake or... what people say » some villages arnd.The hostel has a list of activities you can do. So, it is up to you and your budget. The hostel itself is a great place for backpa - The Jade Emu ticks all the boxes for a Hostel and more. Our room - Delux King- had a huge comfortable bed with electric blanket, the bathroom was well appointed, even had bathtub and above head heater lights. There was also a fan heater in the room, everything was spotlessly clean. An outside street light shone into the room, but we talked to management who were not aware of that problem and they were going to fix it with a thicker curtain.   The cleanest hostel I've ever stayed. The great taste of the owner made this place a piece of art. Away from the very commercial district, quiet, but convenient. Definitely our best choice in Dali. - It's a fabulous guest house,wonderful facilities and feels like home. I will be back soon :)
