There was a problem with the bathroom and there was someone at the room within a few minutes to fix it. The central location is excellent with direct access to underground shopping and the subway.Very well located, the staff , the facilities of the hotel. Location, price and excellent accommodation. The view. Parking onlly valet and expensive but hotel staff were good about advising about alternate parking off site including providing prices. suggest smoking rooms and or smoking balconies. The bathroom was small and the shower curtain was not good (when in the shower the curtain was touching me all the time. I do not think it is higienic). All the pillows were a very firm foam - very hard -a choice that would include a softer polyester pillow would have been appreciated. Some of the Holiday Inns in the USA offer firm and soft pillows in their rooms and are so indicated on the appropriate pillowcase. Pillows were too hard!!. $40 parking. Considering it was my first stay there, i found there was less than friendly customer service at the front desk.there should be free parking for paid guests!! upset about that!!. The cost of parking. $40 valet parking per day. They stole our towels.cost of car storage, cost of breakfast. Some of the suites are private owned and 3am on my first night the owners next door decided to refurbish their bathroom! A quick word with reception next day however and it didnt happen again. Omg the elevators are slow!!. Took two hrs to get a replacement cofe maker and he did not boterh totake the broken one. Bathroom layout crowded. Very noisy at night due to location and use of older style windowswhereas new sealed windows would be more noise and air proof. Tv remotecontrol batteries dead and thus could not use menu options on the tv.The telephone message button and other quick link buttons were notworking and thus could not retrieve messages? Exact location of 12th and17th floor ice and vending machines not clear?. there was no wireless internet available and the hotel charges $10.00 for a hookup. This is ridiculous!!. Heat didn't work in first room. Had to move, with no help, to another. Difficulty keeping the new room warm. Everything modern except old windows which let in the cold air and street noise. The valet service was very poor. We waited for over 1 hour for them to get our car and ended up missing a lunch date. Very unhappy!. only fixed the bed did not change the sheets. bed and pillow was very uncomfortable, food was insanely over priced, our room was very hot and the air conditioner/fan unit was useless. cleanliness. cleanliness, I have sent a letter detailing my concerns to your customer services. After being gone from our room for five hours, we returned to find that our room had not been visited by housekeeping. When we returned from our evening outing the room had been serviced however, there were some items (clean face cloths and tea bags, cream and sugar) that we still had to request. Also, the astronomical charge of $40 per night for parking is beyond ridiculous!. Loud dinner atmosphere. Room was not ready when we checked in at 4pm and then the front desk staff forgot about us. We weren't even offered a complimentary drink while we waited for 1 hour.
