  Very clean. Breakfast o.k. Good staff. The bar area is relaxing during the day with comfortable seating. We stayed there before and were satisfied. - The staff were excellent, the hotel was clean and new, the rooms were very large and the cleaning staff were attentive.

  The hotel is well situated near the Berri/UQAM subway station. My room was indeed spacious and comfortable, but also very quiet, even though it faced the street.   The staff were very helpful with any number of things; aiding with parking a vehicle, expediting check-in/check-out procedures, and recommending great restaurants and attractions in the area. The hotel lobby and common areas were very tastefully decorated and the rooms were comfortable, although a bit small and some areas seemed a bit dingy. The loc - We got one of the 5th floor rooms, which meant it was really quiet. It also meant 5 flights of narrow stairs. Of course, since it's a historical building (like much of Quebec City) building codes prevent the addition of elevators, so this is par for the course. Beautifully reno'd room and bathroom, though the ceiling was a bit low due to the angle of the roof. Close to lots of nearby shopping and restaurants in the old city (and the lower old city, too, which was a bit cheaper).

Charming ambiance complimented by the delightfully amiable and caring young lady at the front desk who kindly answered any questions we had.   Our Days Inn experience was very positive. We stayed one night while dropping off our daughter at the University. The location was close to restaurants and the University. We did not have time to stay and explore this trip but are planning to do that when we return mid June.
