  The location of the hotel was superb. Right in the heart of the LatinQuarter. The hotel staff was very helpful. The rooms decorated nicelyand extremely quiet to our delight. The breakfast, which is included ,was fantastic! I would recommend this hotel and I would definetly stayhere again. - The front desk staff went out of their way to be helpful.

  For the most part, the staff were very helpful and welcoming. I was booked under the wrong name but the staff on duty promptly fixed that error and helped me check in. The staff member that I mention below then showed me to the room I was staying in and answered all my questions well. The other guests in the room were very quiet. It was a ten bed ... what people say » room, and it reminded me of being at summer camp (which is a good thing). I was very happy with my experience and I would definitely do it again! - The French staff is amazing! We hang out with some of them, they advice good places!

  The staff was very friendly and rendered prompt service. They gave some advice on the metro system and points of interest. The location was great. Easy access to the excitement. The lobby was as clean as it could be considering the amount of people checking in and out. No trash just luggage.   We spent 4 nights in the Nelligan and rate this amongst the best of our hotel experiences anywhere. Rooms were spacious and well furnished (exposed brickwork is very stylish). All of the staff we spoke to were extremely helpful and spoke both French and English fluently. Yes, you'll pay a bit more for this hotel but it's def - We loved the feel of the hotel and the way it had been renovated to keep the charm of the exposed bricks and stone. The staff were outstanding and very helpful. The hotel is located right in the heart of Old Montreal and it is within easy walking distance of great restaurants, bars, art galleries, historic sights and the waterfront. We look forward to staying there again and again.

I particularly appreciated the fact that Jennifer and Vladimir both made the effort to check in via email/phone during our stay, *and* contacted us afterwards to ensure everything had gone smoothly.
