I can see it would be a good location in the winter for skiers who don't want the crowded Alpine Resort area. We stayed in the 1 bedroom suite and it was lovely. From our tour of the hotel, it became clear that the suite was the only room we would care to stay in (we seek luxury in our rooms). The standard rooms are very dated looking and what would probably be described as 'econo'. all reviews » The lodge offers a great and well-equipped guest kitchen that you're free to use anytime. Definitely a plus for budget travelers, who can save money by cooking their own meals. Also, free breakfast snack, helpful and friendly staff, and pool/sauna/hot tub, and good location. Lots of facilities like a movie room, lounge, equipment room made the hotel convenient for all travellers. I would go back for a ski vacation as I think it would be a great place to go with a group or to meet new people. The free breakfast snacks were a nice touch. Friendly helpful staff,spacious well appointed room,with a balcony view to the ski hill. The facility was very clean,quiet,easy parking, central location and just minutes from the ski resort.Excellent value,will stay again next trip. We got an awesome rate online! Try to get a back room away from the road to avoid noise. Being picky... But pillows were flat and bed was hard. Pillows. Sink outside the bathroom. not great for handicap. lots of stairs. But the room I had was OK. A second (full length) mirror in room would be nice. Pet friendly rooms don't have balcony's and I love having a balcony!. not being able to access the hot tub end from the pool end. The maids just put our cups back instead of giving us new ones each day. (I found lip marks on them so I think they were mine...). The beds were uncomfortable and the air conditioner was very noisy. Carpets need to be replaced...needs a good updating.
