I can see it would be a good location in the winter for skiers who don't want the crowded Alpine Resort area. We stayed in the 1 bedroom suite and it was lovely. From our tour of the hotel, it became clear that the suite was the only room we would care to stay in (we seek luxury in our rooms). The standard rooms are very dated looking and what would probably be described as 'econo'. The guest services helped make up for the worn looking standard rooms with a home theatre style movie room and a .

Also, free breakfast snack, helpful and friendly staff, and pool/sauna/hot tub, and good location. Lots of facilities like a movie room, lounge, equipment room made the hotel convenient for all travellers. I would go back for a ski vacation as I think it would be a great place to go with a group or to meet new people. The free breakfast snacks were a nice touch. Friendly helpful staff,spacious well appointed room,with a balcony view to the ski hill. The facility was very clean,quiet,easy parking, central location and just minutes from the ski resort.Excellent value,will stay again next trip. We got an awesome rate online! The staff was super friendly and very accomodating. It was nice not to be rushed out so house keeping could clean. The beds were super comfy! Loved the fruit and muffins in the morning!. A Theater room, a pool, hot tub, a games room, a board tuning room, a gear drying room, computers. On the main hwy. Wonderful front desk staff who recommended great sushi restaurant. Rooms comfortable - had micro & fridge. Staff were friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and staff added a cot for us last minute. Great breakfast too. However, there is good quality coffee in the rooms and the Hotel provides a small, healthy breakfast snack in the lobby. room was a little too warm. Pool was cold. Air conditioner was really loud and made a clunking noise. Hot tub could have been warmer...However this is not a complaint. We really enjoyed our stay. Will stay again. Nothing. Try to get a back room away from the road to avoid noise. Being picky... But pillows were flat and bed was hard. Pillows. Sink outside the bathroom. not great for handicap. lots of stairs. But the room I had was OK. A second (full length) mirror in room would be nice. Pet friendly rooms don't have balcony's and I love having a balcony!. not being able to access the hot tub end from the pool end. The maids just put our cups back instead of giving us new ones each day. (I found lip marks on them so I think they were mine...). The beds were uncomfortable and the air conditioner was very noisy. Carpets need to be replaced...needs a good updating.
