We liked the quiet, clean room and the closeness to Fernie ski resort. The breakfast each morning got our day off on the right foot. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Learned that if we called direct to the desk instead of booking online prices would have been better. We liked the hot tub and that their was a continental breakfast. These were 2 of the 3 things that we want in a hotel. The other is a pool and waterslide - - mainly for our kids.

The first night we stayed on a rock hard bed. The next morning we requested a pillow top mattress and the next two nights we slept better. Nothing - - everything was fine. Very poor value when one compares the cost per night with what's available on the mountain. A one bedroom suite with a full kitchen, living room and balcony cost about $5 more per night. The Super 8 room cost is $115 if your stay is less than 3 days. $74 if your stay is 3 days or longer. there was smell of smoke in one room. nothing. Would have been nice to have a treadmill in the fitness room. All good. nothing, everything was excellent. The beds are quite hard. Nothing comes to mind. nothing. Could have been more choices for breakfast. Hot tub too hot. Unfortunately the night we stayed the internet and thus the tv were not working, though this was a fernie-wide problem. Breakfast could have been better. Eggs juice waffles fruitcocktail would be awesome. A small charge for a superior breakfast would be okay. Room was freezing Heater was touch & go- after a few minutes of heat would just blow out cold air Toilet ran. there was a problem with booking we had two reservation made one for Friday and the other one for Saturday and the Saturday one woes not in the system so they had a problem with finding the room for the other family the hotel was over book they tray d to move them to a diffident hotel bat we insisted on being together so they manege to do that. Unfriendly staff and the continental breakfast was a disaster. I will not return to this place.
