  From the moment I arrived I felt special. That feeling remained throughout my all too short visit.The location, an easy walk from the train station, is central to everything Poperinge offers. The purpose of our trip was to visit the ww1 sites & the holel was in a lovely situation overlooking the town square with many other bars & restuarants available to relax after our visits. Hotel spotless & friendly well situated for the bus stop & train station with late trains from Eiper. The food served in the restuarnt was superb as was the service. Would certainly return.

  The whole experience of staying at the Calis was excellent. Breakfast was wonderfull and served in the room which was a big help because we had our dog with us. The welcome was very friendly and we were recommended an excellent place to eat in the evening. There was nothing that we feel could be improved.   Clean and comfortable. Excelent cost benefit. A friendly and helpful lady as host. Nice breakfast. Quiet surroundings (it is a country house) near Brugge.   Arriving at the hotel on Wednesday with my husband was delightful, I hadthe flu and could not have gone anywhere better. This is a wonderfulplace to stay which we will certainly be returning to. - It felt like a home away from home. Friendly and very helpful reception and dining room staff. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.   A cosy small hotel. Very good to relax from the stress of the city. Very good service and a good and quiet breakfast. You can even sleep in because the breakfast can be taken until noon.
