Arriving at the hotel on Wednesday with my husband was delightful, I hadthe flu and could not have gone anywhere better. This is a wonderfulplace to stay which we will certainly be returning to. It felt like a home away from home. The interiors were exquisite and the attention to detail in all areas of the operation was first rate. Sadly, the restaurant was closed on the day of our stay. Neither our room nor the room of a traveling companion had a shower, only a bath, a nice bath but no shower. Staff could be more welcoming. We could not eat in the Hotel that evening which was a pitty. W needed to deplace ourselves. Restaurant was closed. Evening meal very expensive but plenty of places to eat in the town.

Hotel Recour offers an exquisite restaurant, Pegasus, which comes with an enchanting dining hall and a delightful garden terrace. The Pegasus restaurant has become well-known in Poperinge for its excellent cuisine and exceptional setting.

Chef Bert Recour perfected his skills under the tutorship of true masters before going on to run his own restaurant. With exotic spices and a Mediterranean touch, the fresh cuisine is not to be missed.
