The room was beautiful and very clean. The bath facility was exceptional. The BandB is located within easy walking distance of the Old Town as well as the rail station. At night, all was extremly quiet. The breakfast was excellent as well. The greeting we received when we arrived was very welcoming - this 'set the scene' for our experience of the hotel. We had hired a car for our exploration of the area, so were very glad that there was plenty of parking space. The room was spacious and very clean. It was a very easy walk to Menin Gate and to the town itself! We have been traveling around Europe for a month & stayed in many hotels - the Hotel Ariane was one of the best. Roger and Muriel welcomed us warmly into their home. We had a spacious room with a large comfy bed,a balcony and aircon. The cooked breakfast set you up for the day, the continental offered you so much choice. It was so interesting to meet others of various nationalities around the table at breakfast. which was ideal with two rooms. The purpose of our trip was to visit the
ww1 sites & the holel was in a lovely situation overlooking the town
square with many other bars & restuarants available to relax after
our visits. Hotel spotless & friendly well situated for the bus stop
& train station with late trains from Eiper. The food served in the
restuarnt was superb as was the service. Would certainly return.

This B&B was a great find: convenient location within the old city
with free off-site parking; comfortable room with spotlessly clean en-
suite bathroom; gracious, helpful proprietors; and tasty breakfast.
Especially loved the beautiful back garden: recipient, apparently, of
many awards. We rented their bikes and Johan not only made sure that we
had maps and emergency equipment but also sent us off with assurances
that he would come rescue us should we encounter any problems!

Great rooms, clean and everything you might need. A real treat to have somewhere outside to sit - your own private terrace. Owners are very friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble but they leave you alone to relax. Great place to eat up the road and very quiet area with just a short walk to all the busy areas.
