We thought that the accommodation was of a high standard, and the theme of our roo alarmingly quirky. We were made to feel very welcome, and all the staff were friendly and helpful without being fussy. We had come away for a couple of quiet days as a 'bolt-hole' away from the demands of our work, and we were pleased to find Namur a perfect place to have such a break. Beautiful design, interior decoration. Friendly staff. Arrived super late at the bar for a drink and staff still served us with a smile. Took a quick trip to the sauna, nice facilities , small but just what I needed. Good breakfast.

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed but reception recommended Brasserie Francois which was excellent. Very good restaurant - don't forget to make a reservation when you check in because there are limited seats. Very good sauna experience the ensemble of design and decoration in the rooms is perfect. Highly characteristic and individual hotel. Breakfast was delicious! Ideal position for visiting Namur, 20 minutes walk from the station, 10 minutes from the centre, and at the foot of the citadel. - very nice, helpful staff - very good cusine! - comfortable, clean rooms - beautiful surroundings - worth staying!. The air conditioning in my room wasn't very effective. It was cooler, but not quite cool. It wouldn't have made it to cold. While delicious, breakfast was quite expensive. No previous information about required room deposit (150 Euro). Moreover during checking-out I ve been informed about city tax (5 Euro/day) - taking into account price of the room 175 Euro/day that should be included. Nothing. no single word seen in dutch. No tea making facilities. Wireless was really poor. Impossible to detect wireless with Ipad & Iphone. That's the weak of the hotel. Inexcusable additional charge of £15/€18 for car park. price. It was difficult to find a parking place around the hotel. The room was quite small and the swimming pool was tiny, impossible to swim inside. Wifi didn't work very well.
