We really loved staying at Regents Court. We stayed for a full week on a girls' holiday and both the staff and accommodations were excellent. John was particularly helpful and assisted us promptly with whatever we needed. Our room was large and clean - we really enjoyed the full kitchen and dining area. Also, the rooftop garden is exceptional and not to be missed! Many nights, we got take-out from the market next door and ate while watching the sun set from the rooftop. Perfect ending to the da. all reviews
The fact that Regent Court Hotel is in the Red-Light district does not mean you could not get your rest. We have heard tourists complaining about the noise generated from Disco for those who stayed at Holiday Inn and Mecure Hotel located at the tip of the King Cross. Its like a quiet corner in the mid of all activities and yet, away from the crowd.
Food are easily accessible and there is one particular Japanese Food known as Busshari @ 119 Macleay Street where food is authentic and great with r.
The location is excellent. Easy access to central Sydney via the subway and good access point for wider Sydney, for traveling by car. Car park available by request at a reasonable price. Lots of eating places close by, and an excellent coffee place tucked around the corner. Kitchenette in the room is handy, there is a market place next door and Coles down the road.
Great location, fantastic old deco building. Beautiful light filled room and stunning city views from bay window in studio on fourth floor. Also loved the old elevator.
Street was tree lined, quiet and surrounded by other cool buildings.
It's in a really convenient location, there is cheap daily parking (relative to Sydney), the staff are friendly and accommodating. Pity I forgot to visit the rooftop garden! The rooms are clean and had everything we needed.
Location is excellent. Easy access from the train station. Easy to find good restaurants... if you are wise enough to walk away from the main streets. Large room, clean, comfortable.
Location- close to stores, shops, restaurants, morning coffee & the train.
Helpful, friendly staff, accommodating hours. No maids waking you every morning.
Very friendly and genuine lady at the front desk, always nice to be made to feel welcome!
The location is perfect, the room was nice enough with a good bed.
We did no go for night life. It is convenient to shops, restaurants and the city. The tree lined streets are very nice. It is a very picturesque setting.
Spacious apartment, comfy bed, great roof garden, helpful reception staff. Close to train network. 30min walk to Opera House through Botanical Gardens.
the bedroom was spacious, the bed was very comfortable , near the train station so easy to anywhere in Sydney, will be a choice for our next visit .
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was well appointed and spacious. The location is ideal for visitors to Sydney.
Love the old fashioned building, the roof garden and the friendly staff. RC is in a great location.
It feels like home.
The location was amazing
Extremely quiet in rooms considering only
A short distance from
Late night venues.
The proximity of the train station (King's Cross)
bedding
The atmosphere of the apartment

spacious room with all the necessary facility included. Friendly staff are very helpful during our stay.
The location, rooms very large and clean and very comfortable. The staff very friendly and helpful.
Location as it was too close to the Station and the food outlets as well as Super markets.
The staff were pleasant & helpful & the location was excellent
for our needs.
Good room and the hotel has an awesome rooftop garden with an amazing view of city.
Rooftop garden, and the lovely old lift. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
location, staff very friendly and helpful, roof garden nice. Spacious room.
Loved location. So close to station yet hidden away behind Kings Cross.
Friendly and professional staff
Location
No unnecessary frills.

Room was spacious and bed great.
Good location, spacious hotel for 3 people.
Frienly stuff, exellent location.
Great staff, good location.
Clean rooms
Fold away bed.
Staff real friendly.
Good room layout and location. Very near supermarkets, main transport
links and especially liked the fact that the airport shuttle bus picked
us up outside the entrance. Staff very helpful-pillows and beds very
comfortable. Good free wifi. Would stay again if came to Sydney.
The view from the window was excellent.
Comfortable clean bed.
Spacious room
Very helpful staff.
the location right in the heart of bustling kings Cross.
The front office staff were exceptionally good.
Loved the location , staff was lovely.
Central location (Kings Cross-area).
Location, very friendly staff.
Close to trains.
The staff at reception were friendly and very helpful. The location is
good, very close to King's cross station. We had a bright room with
lots of space.
Retro look and location.
Staff very kind.
Nice staff.
If you're traveling with kids, the area immediately around the hotel (Kings Cross) can look a bit dodgy at night. Not necessarily dangerous - just not child-friendly.
Infrequent housekeeping for the room that led us to clear our own rubbish on daily basis. Next, fixing of facilities takes time like our bath room light was blown on our second day of stay and yet, it was fixed only on the fifth day after reporting...but overall the staff were friendly and helpful even though that was how their operations run.
The pulldown bed in the room needs an upgrade.
My partner thought the carpet was a bit grubby. I didnt notice but maybe its a girl thing.
The area around Kings Cross seems to be a bit seedy, near quite a few strip clubs if you're walking from the train station along Darlinghurst Rd. I had no idea before I came. I don't think it's dangerous or anything, just seedy. Lots of backpacker hostels in the vicinity. Patchy wifi.
Be wise when you are in Kings Cross!.
$100 being put on hold on my debit card as a bond, which apparently will take 5 business days to get back into my account. I had not counted on this.
There was nothing we did not like.
Housekeeping infrequent, had to request it, but satisfactory when done.
Would prefer to see King sized bed in such a large room.
The toilet paper.
The lift it hard to get in and out
No oven.
No parking lot. Kings Cross is a noisy suburb and not very suitable for a quiet stay in Sydney.
Nothing.
Too much crowded at night.
The Hotel holds a $100 deposit on your credit card for 5-7 working days!
This was not discussed prior to my arrival at all, only once I had
signed in! Guests should be informed of this prior to any booking made
& it should be clearly noted on all of their advertising! I have
never had a Hotel do this before, wasn't impressed that I wasn't
informed earlier other than when checking in!.
Was expecting dvd player and cable tv in room as advertised.
Difficult to find.
Old air conditioner.
Noisy birds in the morning.
Room décor tired and old and kitchen facilities dated and need repair.
Aircon unit leaked at night onto carpet and was difficult to control
temp. Lift awkward with luggage as doors old fashioned and needed
constant support to stay open.
Room wasn't as clean as it should be.
Hotel was at Kings Cross NOT Potts Point so very noisy at night.
the bathrooms would need a renovation.
The cleaning service was meant to be once a week (over more than four weeks, but some weeks missed out. Same bed linen used over several weeks
Kitchen sink smells of sewer gas.
Had issue with the bed which was addresses but not resolved. Staff was nice though.
Room was too dark.
Room was very basic, but clean, a little old-fashioned.
Poor attitude to guest-servicing.
Some equipment(desk lamp, kitchen light) is out of work.
Have still not received my $100 security bond back ? It's been a month or more since I stayed there.
Cleaning was non existent during our 6 day stay. The carpet in the room
felt sticky and needs to be replaced.
Room was not clean and despite booking for 3 guests was only prepared
for 2 guest. Took 4 attempts until some of these problems were
rectified. The dirty kitchen utensils an pots were never cleaned. Great
location but very disappointing stay.
Is not an hotel, parking not available and public one very expensive, rooms made each 3 days, no service, no wifi, very old. The worst is the fact that you don't get what you are told...
It was like a bed sit. A total rip off. Very disappointed and got in a lot of trouble form my wife for wasting so much money on it.
We had an issue with cockroaches. Whilst it was Easter, we didn't
feel the staff dealt with it very well.
We asked for a discount and the hotel still haven't followed up.
There were 3 sharing in a room, the single bed kept collapsing.
The marketing materials made this hotel option look much better than it was. I would not recommend this hotel to other people.
