What people say

We lived near by so loved being back in that neighborhood, but some may find Kings Cross off-putting. Just go to Petrol, almost next door, for breakfast and you'll forget the riff raff. Overall it's a great location in the middle of Potts Point and Surry Hills / Darlinghurst, close to Rushcutters Bay. The staff did their best to make our stay pleasant. This was our second time there.
all reviews Great stay. staff were excellent. manny in the restaurant downstairs was great + rooftop dining a rare treat. Fresh food market across the road is perfectly paired to the kitchenette in the rooms. Taxi's easy to find. My new regular in Sydney. The location was fabulous for wining and dining. We had one of the back rooms so it was quiet. They room also had windows which opened. Closeness to everything, easy access to the city I've stayed many times and will continue. Good facilities, friendly staff, apartment amenities good, Rooftop facilities excellent. The help from the staff with lost airline lost baggage issues. Ease of access to Sydney. the facilities are fine & they were what what I expected the location is great. The close location to good cheap fresh foods. Quiet indoors. Great room service. I asked for a smoking room and was provided with a room with a terace...thank u. The birdlife that visits the rooftop terrace, especially the cockatoos. Had everything you required for an enjoyable short break in the city. Very nice new york apt. Close to everything. Staff very friendly. Great look and feel of the hotel. Clean, well presented rooms. Quiet. Near city activities. Botanical gardens near by. Good facilities location and value. position, staff, price. Excellent location. Friendly Staff. Good location. Clean. I would recommend if all other hotels in the area and price range were taken. Kitchenette & Supplies Feather Quilt. The attatched restaurant. Location was great. Location. It was quiet at night time and close to the Metro train station. Easy access to downtown Sydney and Bondi Junction. convenient for transport to/from airport and Sydney tourism. Movie channel In the heart of the city. that there was a room available. How close it was to everything. Service was excellent. Location. We had a very leaky air conditioner, hooked to the ceiling above the entry door, and had to ask twice to be switched... A few dramas, but the staff ensured it was eventually all ok so kudos for that!. mould build-up in bathroom. Bathrooms are small but no where to put toiletries Cupboard doors to kitchen are old looking and loose. The location came as a bit of a shock and I thought the carparking charges were exorbitant. the shower curtain was too short & water flooded the bathroom floor the towels are not soft enough. The pillows and there was no dooner cover...bathroom door was jammed. Having towels replaced even when we'd hung them up to be kept. Light was broken in toilet and was never properly fixed even though we told them straight away. The exhaust fan above the stove was not working and the above stove light was out as well.Sliding Bathroom glass door was extremely hard to close+open. Office staff were unable to answer any of my questions regarding the checkin process. Neighborhood is a bit grungy a block away. Looks as if needs a bit of a refit - some of it is looking a bit worn. Small lift. No coffee plunger. Could do with a pool or spa and a gym too possibly. I booked two rooms for two nights. I arrived and they only set aside one room for the first night. I was not compensated in any way. We ended up having to search all over for comparable rooms at a different hotol and it took all day. We ended up spending more than we budgeted for. The second day our rooms were ready but the wireless was down until night time. When it came up it seemed very slow. And there was a roach in the bathroom that I had to kill with my shoe. Lack of quilt cover. Non-punctual return of security bond. Cracked tiles, stained furniture, tiny rooms, toiletries half used, broken cupboards..... Room was tiny and too much furniture so with two medium suitcases and hand luggage, it was cramped. Better for solo traveller. Room was clean but bench was stained, bathroom had cracked tile & piece of wood to stop door sliding. One bedside lamp didn't work & we waited two days for safe to be unlocked. Restaurant and roof bar were closed. Pictures better than reality. The location and noisy evenings around. Location was sketchy. Approach for taxi drop off is an alley at the back of the red light disitrict. Convenient to train station but, not a reccomended walk at night. Petite suite is just what you get. Very small and not a lot of room if you are traveling with a bunch of of luggage. Bathrooms don't have any place to put anything. Very small. The room was extremely small, with very little storage space for clothes / baggage Despite reporting a flickering ceiling light on our first night, repairs not carried out during our stay. Kingscross is very close Cleanliness Value for money. overpriced for what you get. No where to put suitcases or clothes. No where to put toiletries. The shower wets the whole bathroom - no door only curtain. Room is just too small it was uncomfortable. Wasn't very clean, tiny bathroom, not worth the money. Rooms too small. The decor in the room was tatty. Lots of marks and chips on the furniture. Sheets were dirty WAlls were dirty staff undertrained terrible.
