I stayed at Mountway September 2013. I had no problems parking my car the few times I had to go out. The public transport in Perth is great with many free services almost on the doorstep of the apartments. I enjoy walking so most times it’s easier to do that than driving. Kings Park is just up the road. The management and staff were friendly and went out of their way to provided information about how to get around. If I ever require the need to stay in accommodation in Perth again it will be at.

This holtel is situated close to everything! Five minutes walk to the centre of Perth, close to two CBD (Perth and Esplanade). Staff is very helpful all the time! Rooms are clean and tidy. In our family apartment were - 4 beds, TV, kitchen with fridge, microwave and kettle, conveniences and a bath. Linen and towels changed regularly. We stayed for several days, there was a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom , all clean. The property has a fantastic location with free parking but is a little tired looking. Everything could do with updating but having said that we were very comfortable and would def stay again. There is a guest laundry on site.The time i spent at Mountway was minimal, i found it value for money, clean & the staff to be very friendly & helpful. It was in a lovely area & even though there was a major road next to it i didnt find this to be a problem...would stay there again. Very friendly staff, great location and comfy beds. Nice and clean apartments, all the facilities you need for an overnight/weekend stay. We loved the BBQ area, great to sit around and get a start on the night ahead :). Our room 501 had a million dollar view the location of the Mountway Holiday Apartments was spot on in walking distance to the CBD & Kings Park what more could you want would come again. The staff were very helpful, particularly in helping organise a taxi to the airport. Really liked getting a colouring in pack for my child. Overall a very pleasant stay. The price; the location; the cleanliness and it was quiet despite being by the freeway. If was wonderful to be so close to the city and so close to the park. top position for accomodation for country visitors to perth. just park car at motel and walk into city,grab the free cat bus and explore perth. Clean tidy rooms; helpful polite staff; good location for shopping;transport; and food for self catering and dining out.Value for money. Location is next to the city and next to the King's Park, public transport is easily accessible Pleasant and helpful staff. I liked the location closer to city centre, the rooms are comfortable and the Wi- Fi availability made me feel at home. close to the business district, kings park and walking distance to the ferries. Also close to public transport routes. the location was great espically been a first time to perth so close to the city, and Kings park. May be an older building but you aren't in the room all day. Traffic noise was not a worry. good location-near king s park and city, easy access to bus, train and freeway. The clean comfy bed, close proximity to the city & the river views!. The price you pay and get a spacious apartment is hard to find in Perth, had kitchen fully equipped and balcony looking out at the city great views especially at night. The apartment suited our needs and purposes; close to the city and King's Park/ Jacob's Ladder Hot water was adequate/bedding clean/ air-con functioning well. close to where we needed to be, not too noisy being right on the freeway. Nice view of the river etc. Not bad considering the building was old. Didn't enjoy the free Wi-Fi. Can't say I didn't like it but property needs to have some serious money spent on it. carpet very tired,needs a power point in bathroom & one needed by the bedroom mirror along with a fluro light above mirror a new paint job would be ideal also. The bathrooms were not as good quality as expected, but still good. A comfortable chair would be good. The traffic noise experienced in the upper levels e.g.level 4; vertical blinds on balcony doors which do not block light and sun at first light e.g. 04.45am; congested parking. The bed seem very worn and the windows are not clean. Cleaning is only done to rooms with no tenants !! for the five days stayed no body changed even my towel!!!. this was not fair. Cleaning must be done at least after two days by changing all used towels and the like. a bit noisey with traffic from the freeway but got used to it. Needed another power outlet in the kitchen for cooking. no actual cooker, just a electric hob. need to book room away from freeway side. The stairs if the lift was unavailable!. Parking was sometimes in short supply but it is possible to use Mount St between 6pm and 8 or 9am, for free. Can be noisy and the windows could have done with a clean. A little road noise but it was more then ok, a little old but everything worked well,. Kitchen needed a few more utensils and appliances. Beds squeezed really loudly when you moved. the hotel need some renovation/improvemnet. Parking at the site was hit and miss. Sometimes I had to wait for someone to go before I could park. Parking on the street is only free overnight. We did not dislike this but rooms were outdated . Was an older building and could use some maintenance as we had trouble with the door lock. needed refurbishing. Not enough car spaces. the air-con didn't work. Office hours but there was always somebody on duty and we were advised where to go for assistance if after hours. Lack of secure parking. Facilities very basic and loud due to location. Expensive. could be a bit noisy. old elevator. freeway noisy. Bathroom. old facilities. Road noise - not blocked off very well by the double glazing, which had failed on one window; but I knew we would be overlooking the freeway before we booked! Vertical blinds aren't v. effective at blocking light, but were OK. The carpets were very stained. The bathroom was very old and dated. The TV was too small for the room and dreadful quality of sound (remember it has to be turned up to hear over the traffic noise). There's no light out at the balcony as the tables and chair are outside has hard to eat dinner at night. Beds were a bit hard, and a refurbishment wouldn't go a stray. No power point near mirror in bathroom to assist with styling hair when using hair dryer Insufficient crockery for 5 people (this did not affect us though). that drive was a bit steep with a broken ankle, car park was tight. blinds didn't close up some slats missing.

Please let Mountway Holiday Apartments know your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property using the contact details found on the booking confirmation. Please note that for guests booking on the same day of check in, an AUD $200 refundable cash deposit may be required upon arrival. Please note that reception opening hours are from 08:00 until 19:30 hours on weekdays, and from 09:00 to 16:00 on weekends. Guests arriving outside reception opening hours (late night or early morning) must inform the hotel of their estimated time of arrival when booking so that arrangements for an after hours check-in can be made. Please note that guests arriving after 24:00 must also book the night they are arriving, as check in is from 14:00 and check out is at 10:00. Please note that extra beds and babycots are only available upon request. Please note that upon check in, guests are required to present a valid credit card in the name that the reservation was made under. Please note that car parking is limited and subject to availability. Free street parking is available after 18:00. Please note if a declined or invalid credit card has been used to secure the reservation, the property will require a full cash payment upon check-in.

Travelling information

Alternative check in procedure for after hours As you arrive around midnight the key to your apartment will be located left of the reception window at eye level, in a pigeonhole with a small door. Use the key in the top lock of your apartment, as the door will not be dead-bolted. The number to your apartment will be on the key-tag. We will then see you in the morning. We have a resident manager on site should you have any concerns at arrival time. Arriving from the airport: - Travel along the "Great Eastern Highway" for several kilometers, until you come to the Causeway. Turn right, and travel towards the city. -You need to get off, at the Adelaide Terrace exit, and then continue up through Perth. Adelaide Terrace turns into St Georges Terrace, and then into Malcolm St. -Turn left into Cliff Street immediately before the flags, near the entrance to King's Park, then left into Mount St. - Mountway Holiday Apartments is at the bottom of Mount Street, on the left, number 36. Taxi Services: One of the main Taxi services in Perth, is Swan Taxis, which are always available from the airport and only takes about 25 minutes. All taxis have eftpos, credit card facilities, and have within-vehicle security cameras. Airport Shuttle: The Airport City shuttle service departs and returns every one hour and thirty minutes. It takes approximately one hour to get to Mountway (as the shuttle needs to deliver the other guests staying at other establishments).
