Situated on Little Bourke Street, China town, close to all asian restaurants, close to Parliament Station (train), free City Circle tram stop not far. This tram takes you to all the popular tourist destinations. Approximately 15-20 minute walk to city centre that includes shopping at Melbourne Central, Bourke Street Mall, and close to city attractions such as Old Melbourne Gaol, Lygon Street, Flinders St Station, St Paul's Cathedral. Beds were very comfortable and rooms are kept very clean.
all reviews » The location was great, close to the train station, close to cheap restaurants in Chinatown, easy walk around the city from there. We loved that it is a small apartment block. We never heard a noise from the neighbouring apartments. The bed was lovely and comfy. The opening windows were very big and let in lots of natural light. Loved the dispensers in the bathroom!! So clean and neat and lovely products. It had everything we needed. Will stay there again. The location is good - in the CBD (right at the 'limit') within walking or tram distance to all the important places. Also close to the area north of the CBD which is also interesting. The apartment itself is very nice and the reception is helpful and available 24hrs/day for checking in and out. I got there before my check in time and they gave me a room. Comfortable beds. Shower very safe and easy to use for older traveller e.g rubber anti slip mat in bath, grab rail. Good to have tioletry dispensers on wall in shower with big letters to read the labels. Breakfast and kitchen supplies good.Request for extra pillows met. Very useful having Skybus taxi direct to hotel. Prompt. For a triple, room was spacious. Kitchenette and supplied continental breakfast was handy, especially for us early-risers. Openable windows as well as air con. 24 hour reception. Excellent location close to Chinatown, the free tram, 15 mins walk to Swanston St shops or Queen Vic markets. a)the room is tidy and quiet, which has oven,toaster, kettle, plates and some other base kitchenwares. the staff there were friendly and nice, and the most convinient is the place, which is just in the entrance of the chinatown. b)free wifi. The room was a good size and very clean, there was free wifi and well located - all great for a quick business trip. staff were also really helpful with storing my bag and accessing wifi after check out briefly. would definitely rebook. Convenient location to many good eateries, public transport & shops. Reasonably spacious room with mini kitchen facilities. Clean bathroom & shower facilities. Sizeable wardrobe space. Best part is the free wifi access in room. Location is great - close to tram stops and easy walking distance into CBD or MCG/Sports precinct. The convenience of being so close to the city heart and within walking distance to most tourist sites and access to public transport. staff were very informative and helpful on Melbourne events very close to Chinatown shopping and restaurants, tram stops car parking. Everything was great there was enough space for three of us and it was just around the corner from the concert venue we attended. Proximity to the city. Good value for money, staff were helpful and friendly. Nice to have a bath rather than just a shower. So easy and central to tram and shops ,restaurants etc we just walked everywhere. Great place if you don't have a car. Close to good shopping and eateries. It is also fairly quiet down Little Bourke street, allowing a good nights sleep. The vanity/sink in the bathroom was quite low, so you had to bend over quite far to brush teeth and wash your face. We did hear some street noise from the drunks in the early morning hours, but it wasn't too bad. Maybe the breakfast is a little too slim. Only one chair in room! very limited crockery! No ice in cube tray upon arrival that day! Not enough butter for toast (maybe 3) would be great. New irons required!. The bathrooms were quite adequate but old & the rubbish truck was noisy at about 6am each day. no re-cycling facilities. Shower over bath. The parking was not secure. I was in a business car and so parked without qualm but I'd be reluctant to park my own vehicle here. Nothing, our stay was excellent!. I was a bit surprised by the actual breakfast that we ended up getting - maybe I misinterpreted the term breakfast included. Although very convenient the breakfast was very basic. The early morning wake up of delivery vans and garbage collection. There wasn't anything I didn't like. The front City Limits Hotel sign is very small and as the street had no street numbers it took us a little while to spot it. After we asked several places. Rooms are a bit small. bit noisy from hotel across the road, but i did have both the wind out window and the double glazing open, so should have been much better with them closed. The place was a bit further than liked from the cbd, near the upper part of chinatown, but nevertheless still convenient. One thing that spoilt it was the noise from bottle recycling truck, very early next morning. We were on 4th floor, still very loud. The bathroom was a little old fashion. I didnt like that there is no balconies thats all. Noise inside from doors, people, water and toilet flushing. Noise outside from garbage trucks. Hard to locate when not familiar to city traffic . A bit noisy at night. Night time street noise filtering into the room. The only negative about this hotel is the street noise which seems to go all night. Most noise came from garbage trucks. No chance of a relaxing sleep in with all that noise which is a shame. toilet and shower facilities dated.
