Monaco is at most 2 years old - our one bedroom apartment (7th floor) was large, comfortable, well equipped and had a large balcony with (close) ocean view, doors to balcony off both sitting area and bedroom. Plenty of coffee shops and restaurants close by. Pool area was a little unimaginative, but the main pool had hand rails for easy access, separate spa and children's wading pool and best of all - heated! Had a great holiday!.
all reviews » The building and units themselves are designed to take maximum advantage of the spectacular views. The accommodation is of a high standard and immaculately clean. The location right next to the beach and with access straight on to the main street of Caloundra is excellent. Everything is at your doorstep within easy walking distance - no need to get the car out. Loved everything, clean, well located, great space, friendly staff. The view was amazing, so pretty, the spa was wonderful, the layout of the space was roomy and modern with great facilities. The chocolates on the pillow were an added treat. I have aleady sent photos to my family and friends to show off this accomodation, well be back for sure. We had grandparents,down to small children we found the heated pool excellent as we didn't have sunshine all the time. The girl who booked us in was very helpful & genuine. The view was fantastic & the apartment roomy enough for the 6 of us. close to town but not noisy. Excellent facilities. We were there in July and it was a little chilly so we didn't use the pool complex; but it looked very well equipped and quite tempting. Great two bedroom layout and very comfortable and roomy for four adults. Secure parking a bonus. The hotel was beautifully maintained and exceptionally well maintained. The cleanliness of the apartment and grounds were second t none. I highly recommend this accommodation and will be booking my next stay here when I am in Caloundra next. Clean and modern. The other couple travelling with us found the 2nd Bedroom too small and checked out after one night. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Bed rather firm which was not helpful to our backs. Otherwise, first class Resort. Had to pay for Wifi!. Nothing really. Only that the supermarket closes at 5pm on weekends but that is about all. My boyfriend wasnt too happy that there werent any foxtel or austar channels. Nothing - although found the whale watching to be very choppy, and quite a number on the boat were sea-sick. Couldn't get any movie channels. Leaving!. Nothing. Should not have to pay for Wifi. Stains on the duvet. Wet weather, but you can't help that!. no towel rails in bathroom. That I had to leave. Nothing. The entry door was very stiff to open. The air conditioning needed maintenance. The washing machine needed fixing cycle was 3 hours.
