The B&B was close to the station, spotlessly clean with a lovely room, great breakfast & staff who went the extra mile to make my stay comfortable. -
It was very quiet. For a single room it was a good size and had all the facilities I needed.
There was a good selection of hot and cold breakfast options.

The room & ensuite bathroom (and general surroundings) were clean, the bed was soft & comfortable and it was absolutely roasting in the room when we arrived (never a bad thing!). Both Isabell and Phillip were lovely hosts..they were made for running a B&B. Breakfast was served fresh on our plates each morning. Conveniently located just across the road from Gretna Green station for those using trains, and about a 10 minute walk to the Famous Blacksmith's Shop.

It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, so comfortable that I overlayed for breakfast and I don't even do that when I'm at home, the extra large bath towels, the fact that it had a bath as well as a shower, the chocolate on the bed when I got there and the packet of biscuits ~ most welcoming after a fairly long drive, the staff were extremely friend

Everything! The hosts Suzy and Derek were lovely friendly and helpful.
I had a double room to myself though it was a room with no view ie next door's wall everything else was perfect. Clean, modern, uncluttered, comfy.
Great choice and flexibility for breakfast, the porridge was gorgeous!
A real bonus was the opportunity to use the microwave and fridge in the breakfast room so if you dont fancy going out you can reheat a micro meal and eat in!

Rockhill was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. There was also an obvious attention to detail that made a big difference compared to some places I have stayed. In all, a genuinely welcoming Guest House that was outstanding value for money. -

The warmth and friendliness conveyed by the owners, Shirley and Laurence & the fact that they are both "hands on" in the b & b, their willingness to make conversation with you in general & on local areas of interest & simply making you feel welcome, nothing was to much bother to them also very friendly staff & not forgetting a great breakfast.
