We had a group booking of 13 people, the hotel staff were amazing and really made us all feel at home. - The motel style rooms, which was ideal for my dog, the sitting area outside was lovely.

Ideally located as a stop over for the Cairnryan or Stranraer ferry ports this BandB offers great value for money. Helpful, welcoming staff. Recently refurbished to a high standard offering comfortable and clean accommodation. Easy car parking. Excellent buffet breakfast or a cooked breakfast done to order. Large comfortable lounge area available.

Everthing in the room worked as it should and there were some thoughtful and useful touches such as fresh milk if required rather than those UHT pots. The owners were friendly and very helpful and I would definitely stay here again when in the area.

I felt like a personal guest of the owner, not just a customer - Very peaceful environment with exceptional attentive and helpful staff. Superb food and a connoisseur's wine list. The perfect place to chill out.

I was travelling with my mother and stopped over on our way north.We received a very warm welcome from Sally and were shown to lovely rooms with fantastic views over the garden and hills. Great setting, spacious room & bathroom, very clean and nicely decorated. Fantastic breakfast and plenty to choose from the menu. Proprietors were more than helpful and were there to greet you when I turned up. Lovely touches in the bedroom like sweets, biscuits & coffee making facilities. Warm rooms and very comfortable bed.

This was better than the four hotels i stayed in early on in the week and i stayed in four star hotels and not one matched this place. Staff are very very welcoming. Very good for value. Landlord very helpfull on where to go on trips etc. You see what you get. The other hotels which are 4 stars i stayed in never met the pictures that are on letsbo

Although the weather was very hot when we stayed the room had big windows and was comfortably cool at night.
The breakfast was excellent and Jan gave us lots of ideas of what we could see & do in the area. There is a kitchen on same level & it was useful to have use of the fridge. The family room is spacious with a big bathroom.

Excellent service. Nothing was too much trouble for owners. We had been delayed and phoned to say we would not arrive until well after the normal booking in times, David assured us that there was no problem and we were able to continue our journey with an easy mind. Excellent room, large, spacious, and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served promptly. David, the owner is friendly without wanting to know your life story, which I like. This room is great value for money. We paid £99 for a tiny cramped room in a hotel in the Highlands. You could fit two such rooms in the one we had in Glenaldor.
We would highly recommend this B+B.

Everywhere was so clean, cosy and comfortable. We felt valued by the friendly owners.The en-suite bathroom was large and had separate bath and shower facilities. Towels were beautifully soft. The hospitality tray was the best I have ever seen. Also the provision of a separate lounge for guests was a bonus. Breakfast was to die for-beautifully cook

Comfortable room with an excellent seperate sitting area. Facilities to make a variety of hot drinks with no limit imposed by limiting the amount of milk available. Good hearty breakfast. Near to A64(M) so able to break a long journey without having to go to far and not as soulless as a Travel Lodge.

The B&B was close to the station, spotlessly clean with a lovely room, great breakfast & staff who went the extra mile to make my stay comfortable. -
It was very quiet. For a single room it was a good size and had all the facilities I needed.
There was a good selection of hot and cold breakfast options.

It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, so comfortable that I overlayed for breakfast and I don't even do that when I'm at home, the extra large bath towels, the fact that it had a bath as well as a shower, the chocolate on the bed when I got there and the packet of biscuits ~ most welcoming after a fairly long drive, the staff were extremely friend

Everything! The hosts Suzy and Derek were lovely friendly and helpful.
I had a double room to myself though it was a room with no view ie next door's wall everything else was perfect. Clean, modern, uncluttered, comfy.
Great choice and flexibility for breakfast, the porridge was gorgeous!
A real bonus was the opportunity to use the microwave and fridge in the breakfast room so if you dont fancy going out you can reheat a micro meal and eat in!
