  Ound this review helpful Eldsto is a perfect home base for touring the south. It is centrally located, so many day trips are possible. The owners are very welcoming and helpful. The accommodations are comfortable, tastefully decorated, and clean. The kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, electric kettle with coffee/tea and Thor's hand-thrown pottery ... 别人怎么说 » bowls and cups. Breakfast was serve ourselves, so we could sleep in as long as we wanted. The couch is large and comfortable and there is a flat scree - We liked the warm welcome and the delicious dinner: very well prepared 'Ling' (fish) and a surprisingly tasty honey and ginger icecream dessert. We appreciated the friendly service in helping us out with the bustimes and the interesting stories when showing us the photos of Eyjafjallajökul by Ragnar Sigurdsson. We surely recommend staying at Eldstó Guesthouse and if there is no need to stay at least try the tasteful food and bakery or visit the Gallery with ceramics.

  Room was enormous. Hotel seems to be mostly used by bus tour groups. We ate late to avoid the crowds, though had to ask for some food to be re-stocked. Recommend the pizzas from shop at the rear of the hotel. - location excellent size of room and good shower helpful staff clean room fresh watermelon at breakfast

  Very tastefully decorated guesthouse with a cosy room (including a sink). The breakfast offered very good choice with good coffee and tasty Skyr. The bathroom was shared with one other room which wasn’t an issue – having a sink in the bedroom reduces the need for the bathroom. The owner was very friendly and we had a great game of ball with her Ice - This is a fabulous guesthouse. The owner could not do enough for us including booking restaurants and giving advice about activities in the area. The guesthouse was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. We would highly recommend the Fagrahlid Guesthouse. Its proximity to the Eyjafjallajokull volcano and to the south coast sights is great.

  It's basically the renovated basement of a farmhouse. The bed was and big bedding was warm. The kitchen had everything you need. The owner was very friendly and helpful. - there is a kitchen where you can cook, a fridge, rooms are rather spacious with a plenty of plugs
