  The rooms were large and of a high standard. The view of the canal and Mailbox complex was superb. I cannot fault this place if it is a touch more dearer than some other hotels you will only regret not paying to stay here

  The hotel is only a 5-10 minute walk from New Street Station and is ideally located near to Broad Street, Gas Street, The Mailbox , New Street and The Basin. We stayed in a Queen Club room. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The room was very modern in its design and interior decoration. With the queens room the continental breakfast was free, fresh and in the executive room. Which was calm cool and quiet. I hear the full cooked breakfast was £25 pounds, but I was happy with the range of fresh bread , ham on the bone, cheese, and all the bits you would expect.

  The fact that the staff were focussed on the guests' needs at all times. They were obviously working as a team under the ethos that enthusiasm and professionalism establishes the standard of the hotel - and it worked!   I didn't actually stay in the hotel because we wanted to stay on Valentine's Night and we got 2 single beds instead of a double. The hotel had other people who had the same problem and I think it was due to the online booking agent rather then the hotel. There were no double rooms so we had to book another hotel.   I loved the lighting and the set up of the rooms vey clean and welcoming. I love the walk in shower and bathroom set up. The bed was really comfortable and I slept like a baby. The breadkfast was really enjoyable and staff was very welcoming and helpful. I was happy that the wifi was free and easy to use. No minibar. Lack of luxury in the bar area and at breakfast and all drinks served were lukewarm. Suitable for business and a one night stay but would have been disappointed if on holiday. Not as clean as it could be, in this bracket the bathrooms and floors should be immaculate. B
