Everything! Gorgeous apartment - comfortable, luxurious, well equipped. It had everything we needed & more. Great shower, beautiful linen, fluffy towels, and ridiculously comfortable bed that was very difficult to get out of! Extremely close to the charming town of Coromandel. A great place to escape for the weekend. Fantastic. -

I like the studio units with spa bath. Able to relax in the evening. close to the lake edge with a view of the lake from the balcony. Clean units with comfortable beds. Close to the shopping. We had a river view room - it was huge and the balcony area was as well. Wish we had have stayed longer - our room was great! Also, wonderfully knowledgable staff - we asked Kathy where to eat and she suggested a place and then arranged their courtesy bus for us. It was the owner who came to pick us up! Best food we ate on our trip, so a BIG thanks to Kathy for recommending it to us. It's hosts like this that make a great stay into an ourstanding stay.

Room very clean and well presented. Comfortable bed. Nice to have a semi-private outdoors seating area. This was a brief over-night stay so did not utilise any other facilities, but would definitely make this our 1st choice when staying in Taupo in future.

Friendly helpful couple who went out of their way to assist. Provided soap powder so that we could use the guest laundry, including use of a washing machine and dryer. As well I had a flat tyre on my car which the proprieter and his young son came and changed for me.

The hotel was close to the main city center. The staff were very
helpful and made our first night stay in New Zealand a pleasure after
coming in from Australia. The owners also went out of their way to
assist us to find a camera that had been left at the Auckland Airport.
They went to the airport to pick it up for us so that our holiday would
not be spoilt.

Friendly staff, not too far from city center, large room, kitchenette, good value for money, free wifi. We even were given a ride to bus bus station. We were late in getting our request request in for a hot breakfast, but the staff still prepared it with a smile. When we checked in, we were offered beverages and milk - very much appreciated. -

Brand new facilities, newly and very tastefully decorated, good kitchen equipment, outdoor patio, very well located by the lake and the town centre. The staff were so friendly and went to great efforts to make sure the cot was comfortable for our baby and even provided a hooded baby towel which was really useful. As some of the others have said , it doesn't look very exciting from the outside but inside is a different story. The rooms (and we stayed in two different ones) are very nicely decorated and have some unexpected but very welcome extras These included , a small stereo system with an Ipod dock, free cookies (yum!), magazines to read and a separate freezer. The service was friendly and helpful.
