This was so much more than I imagined. We felt as if we belonged there and had been friends with the Martin family forever. This was the most refreshing, serene, country, get away that anyone could imagine. We originally booked one night and expanded to two nights before we arrived, do to excitement. After two nights stay we asked if we could stay for a third night because we did not want to go.

Gail and Robert were both welcoming and friendly, it was a real pleasure to have met with some great company. The Aratiatia Suite was magnificent. It was so spacious, lavish with a Super King bed you could lose your partner in. Hard to fault the property and/or proprietors in any which way, what is provided here is affordable luxury for one and all.

Pleasant motor inn right on the foreshore of Lake Taupo. Good value for a clean and comfortable room. Excellent facilities provided in the room. Good size bathroom with a spa bath and separate shower. Motel slighlty removed from the main restuarant area, which meant driving but also meant noise reduction.

Great cabin like feel with all of the items to feel at home. Host couple was very nice and helpful. Grounds are beautiful with a great view of the bay. Room was clean and in order. The hosts are warm and welcoming, the room is tastefully decorated and
cozy. The liqueur (included) was yummy! Love having a microwave, fridge
and a hairdryer, too. Juice in the morning was great, as was coffee. The
bread could've used an upgrade - yoghurt and fruit would've been
nice, too. Our view was stunning. Wish we could've stayed longer to
enjoy the spa pool.

We loved our stay at the Church accommodation. It was really good value for money, an awesome location with it being just down the road from Cathedral Cove, Hahei Beach and minutes away from Hot Water Beach.

Brand new facilities, newly and very tastefully decorated, good kitchen equipment, outdoor patio, very well located by the lake and the town centre. The staff were so friendly and went to great efforts to make sure the cot was comfortable for our baby and even provided a hooded baby towel which was really useful. We strongly recommend staying here

As some of the others have said , it doesn't look very exciting from the outside but inside is a different story. The rooms (and we stayed in two different ones) are very nicely decorated and have some unexpected but very welcome extras These included , a small stereo system with an Ipod dock, free cookies (yum!), magazines to read and a separate freezer. The service was friendly and helpful.
