I could honestly say that we loved everything about our stay and im 1 fussy person.the room looked even better than the pic and we even got an upgrade for free.the best part was the customer service.they are very friendly and could tell that they genuinely wanted to help you enjoy your time not only at the lodge but also throughout hamilton.would highly recomend and everytime we go to hamilton now we definitely will be staying there

The decor of the room was great! The host both were very friendly and were very helpful within the lodge & also on providing us with information about the surrounding area. The room was very clean when we arrived, as myself and partner were very jet lagged from our trip, we denied room service in the morning when they entered, because of this the host came later on to our room to ensure we had all we needed including towels etc. overall a great stay and would definetley recommend it.

Great for everything. Very roomy, quality decor and furnishings,fresh milk supplied, stunning lookout over the water, lock up garage. One thing I book accomodation for is FREE WIFI, they provide it with reasonable speed... Well done. Very secure complex and a comfortable walk to the CBD. closely located to The Lost Spring Spa... In any case, it was completely the opposite - really happy with my stay at the Reef Resort.
We had a lake-view room for less than $200 on a very busy weekend, which I thought was pretty good value.

Friendliest host over the past 11 days in NZ, surprising given it's a sizeable establishment. Beautiful private-access to lake shore which has a natural thermal brook serenely bubbling away into the lake. They had some plumbing done the night we were there, and didn't have hot water from 9pm till 7am, and in kind recompense, upgraded us to the nicest room of our trip, with stunning panoramic lakefront views. We simply didn't want to leave the room at all!

Brand new facilities, newly and very tastefully decorated, good kitchen equipment, outdoor patio, very well located by the lake and the town centre. The staff were so friendly and went to great efforts to make sure the cot was comfortable for our baby and even provided a hooded baby towel which was really useful. We strongly recommend staying here

As some of the others have said , it doesn't look very exciting from the outside but inside is a different story. The rooms (and we stayed in two different ones) are very nicely decorated and have some unexpected but very welcome extras These included , a small stereo system with an Ipod dock, free cookies (yum!), magazines to read and a separate freezer. The service was friendly and helpful.
