  The motel was very conveneient for us as an overnight stay on our way to Dunedin. We appreciated their appeciation when we realised we hadn't been charged for breakfast and we then arranged for payment to be made. All too often there is no thanks when someone goes out of their way to correct an incomplete payment ( in our case) or something else. ... wat mensen zeggen » The room was warm and the bed comfortable parking very easy so what else could we ask for? - Outstanding hospitality. We stayed two nights on different dates and enjoyed it each time. We would go there again any time in the future. The Motel is located next to the most stunning views and walks in New Zealand. The owners are absolutely friendly and eager to help. The rooms, floors, bathroons are squirky clean. The kitchenette is well equipped. Two restaurants are just a few steps away.

  I liked the guy that runs it, very "salt of the earth" and a happy sort of a chappy. He gave us a voucher for the Pier Hotel where we'd booked for dinner so we got a free wine and beer with our meal. I loved it in the morning when the sunrise looked like it was coming across the water especially for me. I had a nice early morning walk on the beach... wat mensen zeggen » with that golden sunrise. I also liked that it had an ashtray outside our door on a wee table so I didn't have to feel like a scumbag for having a co - Friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable and a great location close to the sea. Value for money. Nice to have outside furniture to use and able to fit bigger group.

  Excellent host. Beautiful views. Judy is a very welcoming and outstanding host full of local knowledge, stories and tourist advice. Very warm and well heated home. Bed was really comfy. Bedroom was spacious and had tables/trunks for suitcases. Private bathroom was very spacious. Continental breakfast laid out in the morning was generous and beyond... wat mensen zeggen » our expectations. Chocolate muffins on arrival were yummy and a lovelly suprise after travelling. We would highly recommend Brook House B&B and h - This was the only B&B we stayed at during our 3 week tour of the South Island. We were in Queen Room#3 which was very comfy, with a private bathroom off the hallway outside our room(as advertised). There is a guest kitchen/dining and lounge area leading to a wrapround balcony overlooking the garden. As the house was set down an easement off the main highway, it was nice and quite.   The caring attention of the owners, the very comfortable bed and bath, both appeared very new. They are constantly working on improving your experience. It began my 3&1/2 week vacation in NZ on a high. Thank you again, - This is a new venture for Kylie and Luke, and is still being developed.when we stayed they had one large bedroom ensuite finished. We had a guest lounge with the tea, coffee facilities and continental breakfast . The free wifi was constant and no problems. Kylie and Luke were friendly, helpful and knowledgable about the area,the B and B is in a good position for the facilities at kaikoura, and the White Morph served a wonderful meal. Good luck with their venture, they are so enthusiastic.

  This was my first trip home in 15 years and first with my wife and two sons (we stayed two nights). We could not have asked for a better location - waking up to the most amazing view. The shops, bars and restaurants in town were a pleasant 10 minute walk. Our boys used the school field next door to play football. We woul - Cannot say enough good things about the place even though we only stayed 1 night. Very clean, very spacious, very comfortable to live in. We were very sad to leave! Wifi worked well, kitchen was modern and well equipped. Washing machine and dryer worked. Quality place and I will definitely be recommending this to anyone coming to Kaikoura.
