My husband and I just had a wonderful couple of nights at Oldfields.
What made it so special was how friendly the staff are - making us tea/biscuits on arrival and when we got back from a long day out the following afternoon, and giving us helpful info on Bath (where to go, where to eat out etc.).

From the moment we stepped in, the place was inviting. The check-in process was fast and easy as they were expecting us and I only needed to provide my first name...no annoying paperwork. The room was small, but clean, which is most important! We only stayed one night and spent most of time exploring Bath so the size of the room didn't hinder our comfort. Everything! We stayed for one night and were pleased for the whole experience. It was a lovely Georgian House situated on top of a hill overlooking the countryside. It has been kept in an excellent condition along with some modern fittings, such as a lush en-suite for the master bedroom (recommended).

Thanks so much to Ian and Alison for a great stay in their B&B and we were very appreciative of their warm hospitality and comfortable accommodation. We felt like we were part of their family coming home for a few days stay. I would thoroughly recommend High Beeches as a great spot to stay, with the bus to Bath just nearby and a good pub with meals within walking distance

Liked the separate accommodation in garden, felt like we really had our own place.

It is not far from Bath and also very handy to Bristol making it an excellent location for sight seeing. We would definitely stay there again.

Cosy, inviting - just right when the weather was dreadful! Penny is an excellent hostess. Food was 5 star plus. The dogs were a bonus - extra pat for Paddy and Guinness! Would never stay anywhere else if we are in this area and look forward to another wonderful stay at The Greenwood. -

Nice & friendly & look after us really well. They went over & above what we expected, phoning the local pub & booking us a table, giving us tea & biscuits in the garden. The rooms are really good & very comfortable. Breakfast was first class especially the sausages & bacon. Would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet break in the country.

Very comfportable accommodation and you had your own entrance which meant you could come and go as you pleased. Owners very friendly. Place very clean and everything you could want fora comfortable, relaxing break. Would definitely stay again.

The host was extremely helpfull and could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable.
The rooms are excellent and ideal in this case as our 9 month old puppy joined us on our recent holiday to the Scilly Iles. We stayed at the Farmers Arms to break up the return journey.

Excellent all round, extremely friendly and helpful. Customer service was great, with 2 young children the room was fantastic and we had our own little patio area. The staff were more than happy to bring our delicious steaks and wine to the patio so as we could relax with our children asleep just through the doorway. Breakfast was superb...really can't say enough about the farmers arms.....
