The hotel is situated right in the middle of one of the most iconic Georgian buildings in the UK. The decor of the hotel is certainly in keeping with the grandeur of its location and the spa and restaurant were faultless.
The service provided by the staff was impeccable - which is a first in my experience! All the staff were warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

the car park token needed to be validated as we were planning to
actually leave the car park( which is underneath the hotel). We liked

My husband and I just had a wonderful couple of nights at Oldfields.
What made it so special was how friendly the staff are - making us tea/biscuits on arrival and when we got back from a long day out the following afternoon, and giving us helpful info on Bath (where to go, where to eat out etc.).

Lovely breakfast room and full English breakfast.Loved being left alone and not having to be sociable. Enjoyed using the DVD selection and being able to park on the hotel forecourt. - Good location, very clean, high quality furnishings, ensuite was excellent, thick fluffy towels and toiletries included. Excellent location close to beach and pier and also ideal for the town centre. Booking in at reception was so easy and relaxed and all required information was given by a very knowlegable receptionist and it only took a few minutes. Our room was very clean with comfortable beds and plenty of clean towels. We did have an evening meal at the Smiths

thought the staff were all fantastic could not do enough for us in all our demands. I cannot fault anyone who worked there always a smile and a friendly hello.I had a small issue with the room when we got there but John sorted it straight away and to be fair it was unforeseen, i am a great believer in seeing how issues are dealt with and i have very high standards when i have paid good money for a service.
