With out a doubt, the staff work so hard for you that I am continually amazed. No matter the hour (I was a late last minute check in on a busy Sat night after a missed flight). Very friendly, very accommodating. They gave me their charger from behind the front desk. They really understand customer service. It's fabulous!

On a lower floor on the Pine St side and there was a l lot of traffic noise. It was a cold night as well and the windows didn't keep out the cold very well. Not to worry. The Ritz has excellent draperies that did a good job shielding us from the cold and the noise. Maybe next capital improvement could be window replacement.

The staff, location and amenities were fantastic. Walking distance from wharf, Union square, china town.

Low-rise hotel; unable to see city lights or bridges at night.

They have a great gym that is included with your stay.

It's pretty old and the walls and doors seem thin. Pretty easy to hear people inside their rooms

Staff were excellent. Service was excellent

My room and reservation was screwed up. I did not get the room I request I did not get he view I requested I did not get he flowers and chocolate as requested. Front desk lady at check in was not friendly and did not attempt to correct the issues but instead argued with me.

Nothing!! We will definitely not be going back to this hotel, gives us a very wrong impression of the Ritz Carltons that we have stayed around the world!!!

Everything!! We know this is a very old hotel but kept very poorly, bad facilities and very small room for what we had to pay for.
